I have been taking my cat Mango to Gandy Animal Hospital since he was a kitten. This place feels like a second home to me as the staff are the most welcoming and accommodating group of professionals. A few months ago, Mango had a urinary block due to crystals forming in his bladder. As a first time pet owner, I had no idea what this meant and how it was even possible that my healthy and happy 2 year old cat could get something like that. I was scared, lost, and a complete emotional mess but the Gandy Animal team had my back and reassured me throughout the whole process. Mango ended up having to go through emergency surgery to get the block fixed and the team made sure I was updated and comfortable the entire time. Dr. Minder explained everything to me perfectly and made sure I knew Mango was in good hands. Mango ended up being perfectly fine after the surgery and they put him on a prescription urinary diet.This team truly saved my kitties life. Since that moment, I have been treated with an immense amount of kindness and care each time I call, go to pick up more food, or bring in Mango or my other kitty, Finn, in for appointments. I cannot say enough great things about this place and will recommend any pet owners to bring their babies here. I will continue bringing both Mango and Finn here as I know they are in good hands!!

Has been a dream to I and my cats as we've previously had horrible experiences with unprofessional veterinary staff that have called my stressed out cat names. They are very patient with my anxieties and listen to me on my knowledge of my cats and allowed me to help with handling the one cat I cannot use chill pills on. Very much recommend.

The front desk staff were great. Very helpful and you could tell they knew what they were doing. The vet was phenomenal, she was able to explain to me what was going on with my dog and the next steps needed to get him feeling back to his normal self. The price was very reasonable for the service I received. Would highly recommend going here for your pet needs

Excellent service at Gandy Animal Hospital. They made everything so easy for me and greeted me with open arms. I felt so welcomed and they gave me so very much if their time. I spent over an hour with Dr Minard who addressed all of my concerns regarding the issues my dog was suffering from. He went into great detail and rolled out some options for me to consider. He was just the kind of Vet that I needed. I am brand new to FL and he was recommended to me by my daughter who loves taking her fur baby there. All around excellence. Jamie

Cannot sing their praises enough. They have helped me through all of my pets' geriatric issues and make sure to give multiple plans to fit your budget, when possible. Every member of the staff is there for all the right reasons, and my pets can tell. I am very picky about vets, so I am glad I finally found one I like for all my fur kids!

My little 10 year old dachshund needed to have all her teeth removed, I was a bit worried about the surgery. I found Gandy Animal Hospital and from my first phone call I was set at ease, they were able to fit me into their schedule within a couple of days. Our initial visit was great, the vet was very thorough and informative! Surgery day went well and her healing process has been great. She really needed this surgery and the vet did a great job. What a blessing to find this place, I will now be bringing my girl here for all our routine care as well!I highly recommend this vet!

First time here with my soon to be 13 yr old Beagle, Callie, and from the moment we walked in we felt so welcomed! Callie wasn’t feeling well and with being concerned for her it was so nice to feel like we had come to the right place. The staff had already obtained a copy of her medical records from her previous vet so were already viewing her health history.
And a huge thank you to Dr Minder!!! Appreciate his kind and thoughtful approach with Callie and making her feel at ease as well as the way forward with her care. One day later and Callie is feeling much better!! The pic posted of her is right after leaving her appt and she was smiling a little already….provably happy to be leaving but she already was getting her bubbly self back.
Gandy Animal Hospital is my go to now for everything. So convenient as well with their location and living on Westshore Blvd.
I highly recommend them to any furry pet owner!
