Polly from High Peaks has been caring for our pets for years. Trust me, she’s amazing! I can't cover how great she is in a simple review. Her kindness and compassion are unlike anything you find in most humans these days. Her knowledge is astounding. And yet she is still absolutely affordable, especially for coming to your home so you don’t have to listen to a howling cat for 30 minutes only to get your eyes scratched out for a simple check up. I’d pay a ton to avoid driving with my screaming cat or my puking dog! ?
And on those tough, inevitable days that happen with fur babies, her kindness and sincere compassion made all the difference as she offered support and spent a lot of time with us. Honestly thankful to have High Peaks Vet around!

My Golden was sick with severe gastrointestinal sickness. Polly rushed over and spent over an hour assessing him and administering meds to bring him comfort and allow him to sleep through the night. She took blood to determine the underlying cause. I cannot say enough hallelujahs or shout enough praises for her professionalism and the time she took to understand what was happening and to help him.

She even took time to talk with us and give us professional advise for our dog who has epilepsy. Thank you Polly! You are absolutely AMAZING!!!!

I didn’t end up needing them to come out to my house but I wanted to speak on the kindness and customer service they provided over the phone; which I feel that the negative reviews on here do not portray accurately. My geriatric dog was experiencing some troubling days in a row and I wasn’t sure if it was time to say goodbye. Unfortunately my vet was out of town so I reached out to High Peaks and they took the time to listen and offer compassion and help. They are a busy and committed local vet and not able to take on every request or client, but I believe when they do have the time in their schedule to help they will do so. If they’re turning down a request it’s because they genuinely don’t have the time, not because they don’t care. Thank you to Polly and her team for your assistance during a difficult time, it was very much appreciated.

Polly was amazing with the kitty we were pet-sitting. He hurt his foot (his is an indoor/outdoor cat) while he was outside & developed a fever, became lethargic and the wound became swollen. We let Polly's receptionist know what was going on and she was able to come to my home and help the cat feel much better at a reasonable fee just a few short hours after we contacted her (I had to meet her after I got off work). She was also very gentle with him and made the procedure as comfortable as possible. I would definitely recommend her!

Polly is one of if not the best Vet I have ever used. Every emergency I have had, she was right there 24/7. I would recommend her highly and her and her husband both have the best “bedside manner” for animals I have every seen. Very caring. She is the best in town.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with high peaks for several years now and they are always spot on for not only diagnosis but in treatment also. I ran out of medication for my dog while my vet was out of town. It was imparative that my dog not have a break in his treatment. I called a couple vet clinics to see if they'd give my dog enough medication to continue his treatment for 5 days until my vet returned. One clinic said they would not without talking to my vet first. My vet was unreachable so he was denied his meds. The other clinic said they were far too busy to take 5 minutes to give me an emergency 5 day supply. I called High Peaks Mobile Vetenary Hospital. I explained my situation. They were accommodating with my emergency and although they were busy with an emergency surgery, the vet took the time to fill the prescription so my dog could make it until my vet returned. They even arranged a place for me to pick up the meds immediately so my dog didn't have to interrupt his treatment schedule. Thank you High Peaks, for showing care and concern for all animals in emergency situations.
