My first experience at Northfield Veterinary Hospital was excellent. The Dr I had expected to see was out on a family emergency and her replacement or stand in was excellent. She was very good. She was very good with Max and obviously he had a good handle on his history. I got all of my questions answered And look forward to future visits.

I was excited to have a well reviewed vet in our neighborhood. The front desk, tech, and vet were all excellent today but the office manager was very rude. At the end of the visit I explained that I had left my wallet at home which was .5 miles away and I could quickly return to clinic to pay for the visit. The office manager was then involved and insisted the invoice be texted to my wife to pay before I left. I explained that my wife is home with our two week old baby and would likely not be able to pay the invoice immediately, and it would be much faster for me to just go get my wallet. This explanation fell on deaf ears so we sent the invoice. The manager was very pushy and continued to ask for the invoice to be paid immediately despite he fact that my wife was taking care of our infant child so I left. The invoice was paid obviously because I’m not a bum. We use several neighborhood businesses and have never been treated as if we were going to skip out on a bill. I expected the same level of service here. I want to reiterate that everyone else was excellent today including the front desk, tech, and vet. Assuming a new customer is going to ignore an invoice and coldly demand my postpartum wife prioritize your invoice over our newborn probably isn’t the smartest management style though.

I love all the vets here! Especially Dr. Shelly! I won't bring my fur babies anywhere else. I no longer live in the area, but I drive the distance because this team is so great. Dr. Shelly took care of my dog George who passed away last year. She was genuinely so sad to hear of his passing and made sure she was available to answer my endless questions and give me support. She was the surgeon for our French Bulldog Reign and her incision healed up beautifully! She is very knowledgable and kind. Thank you Dr. Shelly!

Can’t say enough about how excellent this veterinarian hospital is. Dr Sandel and her associate veterinarians are very knowledgeable, caring, and accommodating. My senior cat, Chubby recently had major surgery with Dr. Sandel and her team. The level of care to ensure a successful surgery and recovery was top notch. I am happy to know my best friend has the best team of veterinarians and staff looking out for him ensuring the best quality of life. Special shout out to the office manager, Meagan for going above and beyond, making sure Chubby had more pain medication as he is still recovering from major surgery—

We were highly recommended to Northfield Vet through people in our neighborhood. We had never been and were searching for a new vet since our usual vet went under new management and we had a bad taste in our mouth from our last experience.

Northfield's front desk staff, vet tech and doctor (Dr.Bri) were so very kind, helpful and thorough. Our sweet boy is extremely sick and they explained everything to us, answered our questions and even followed up after we got back home with him.

We are very grateful for Dr.Bri's kindness and help through this. She also recommended an at-home euthanasia company we've already setup who have been amazing as well. We just can't express our gratitude enough to experience this level kindness. We will definitely be going here for our female we still have. Thank you.
