This vet is outstanding - they make sure our dogs are feeling safe and welcome even if they’re scared. They are awesome about reminding us when a visit is needed, and keep our boys up to date on important shots. They also helped our dogs with getting the right dental care - something no other vet has done. Cannot recommend it enough!

Long-time client since 2019 but no longer recommend. Seems this vet practice has fallen victim to private equity or new ownership with extremely poor management resulting in increased doctor and staff turnover, unreasonable price increases (in some instances, double), and poor customer service. My impression is the doctors have been instructed by ownership to suggest unnecessary high-cost items. To give an example, my 7-year-old dog had a UTI earlier this year and needed antibiotics. Instead the doctor was recommending a full ultrasound because it "could be" kidney stones, cancer, or failure of the organs. But what my dog needed was antibiotics not to be put under anesthesia. I've tried to overlook these frustrations but it came to a head recently where I called to ask about an episode of diarrhea which occurred after opening what I suspected might be a bad bag of dog food. The front office said I would need to make an appointment to address my concerns. When I asked if I could bring in a fecal sample to test for parasite, they said no. I asked to speak to the doctor and was informed they no longer work there and I would need to make an appointment. Just no care anymore for your clients. You can't double your prices and offer a worse customer experience, like not being able to answer a couple questions from a long-time client over the phone. I feel bad for the front office staff and vet techs here because it seems like most are probably doing their best but the leadership's priorities are in the wrong place creating a toxic environment. I put the blame squarely on ownership's priorities and hope they get their act together. I will not be back.

We use to love the staff here. We have been going here for years. After Dr Mary and Dr Laura left this clinic has gone down hill fast. The vets keep changing. There is a clue! So disappointed in what they have become. No longer quality care and the costs has gone through the roof! Way too sad to know more than the vet about my dogs.

I recently visited Littleton Veterinary Clinic and unfortunately, my experience was quite disappointing. I arrived for an appointment I had booked with a person over the phone, but it turned out that my appointment was not recognized. The front desk girl did not apologize for the mix-up, and her demeanor was unprofessional and rude. I understand mistakes happen but the way she handled the situation was not good customer service. This is not my first time feeling the unprofessionalism at this clinic. It’s evident that this clinic has gone downhill in the past few years.

I never leave with a good feeling in recent visits, more just that they’re trying to up charge me for anything they can. I chalked it up to staff changing and was willing to give them time to adjust but after today they have lost my business. If you’re looking for a vet in the Littleton area I would avoid this one.

Recently since Dr. Cody left LVH we have felt there was a steep decline in quality of care. The owner has little to no bedside manner. I was charged twice for “doctor” visits when in actuality he came in ran his hand on my dog and left the room.
For the high prices for visit appointments he was not personable, he did not introduce himself or make any effort to speak to me about the health of my dog. When I brought his concern up he came back and acted if it was a chore to explain his exam which he said he completed within 2 minutes. He never asked us history , diet or exercise or anything about my dog. I felt it was very unfair to my dog and to my wallet.

Very appreciative of my dog's visit we had today. My dog needed to get in, he has never been seen at this vet before but they were able to let me drop him off and be seen in between apts. I called probably 8 different places and no one even attempted to get my dog in, including the vet he has been seeing, except this place. They did not gauge me on prices which has been a common occurrence out here with vets. They explained everything in detail to me and were very thorough and friendly. I came back to pick him up and instead of him waiting in a kennel they had him in the front with the receptionist. That impressed me the most because I know he was terrified of being in a kennel in a foreign place. Leaving my current vet and using Littleton Vet Clinic from now on.

When I say it pains me to write this, it's an understatement.

I have been bringing my pups to this vet since 2017 and despite moving across town and now having a 2 hour round trip just to get here, I keep coming back. But unfortunately, the people & experiences just keep getting more and more negative.

Since 2017 both my pups have been on wellness plans. Yet, each time I come in for a visit, somehow, they keep trying to charge me for items included in the plan. I have picked up prescriptions & paid for them only to be told I didn't pay (my bank statement shows I did in fact pay!!) and asked repeatedly to pay again, before they adjusted the charges off my account.

Last week I was in again and the new veterinary staff talks at you and while giving me their "gold star standard of care" recommendations, which were not helpful or even realistic for my 14.5 year old large breed dog.

One of options was to take an xray of my pups jaw, to which I inquired whether they would need to sedate her. The vet assured me that was quite simple to get without sedation and I agreed to proceed.

After the image was taken, I was told it wasn't clear because it was very hard to hold her down and they couldn't really see very well.

Ummmmmm, okayyyyyyyyyy..... so I just agreed to pay $210 for an image that you told me would be easy to do, but then it wasn't easy or clear and I get to pay $210 for basically nothing. Had they been honest from the beginning, I may have opted to go another direction.

When I went to check out was told my total was nearly $600 despite only agreeing to an additional charge of $210 for an xray and a short round of antibiotics. Once again, they charged me for numerous items included on my wellness plan and when asked about the prescription, realized they are charging MORE THAN 5X what the cost is on Pet Meds. I get you need to make money. I am all for that, but FIVE TIMES?!?!? That seems like price gouging.

At the end I was so frustrated because the receptionist (who is new) was not able to break down my invoice for me and when we finally got the total down to $256, it didn't seem right, but I was late for another appointment and paid without double checking.

Now I'm checking my invoice and the image that I was told was $210, I was charged $298 (although they did add a random discount of $32.35), but that math still isn't mathing.

If you call and inquire about an issue, you'll have to wait for the office manager to return, which she's been out for several weeks and not scheduled to return for another week or so.

Anyway, loved this office when Dr Sare was here. She provided sound advice and the experience was always top notch.

Unfortunately, with each round of new staff, they have just become a run of the mill, mediocre (at best) veterinary office. And that makes me quite sad.

Once my older dog passes away, we'll definitely be finding a vet closer to home that seems like they actually care about their patients experience and charging them correctly.
