Dr. Cass was very kind and flexible with her time even though she was busy that day. She euthanized our beloved Dooley with such compassion and understanding that all of us were comforted while doing the hardest and most loving thing for him. She was very patient with us as we kept trying to extend the Time with him. I highly recommend her. And can’t think of anyone else I would use in the future.

Dr Lisa Cass is the best! Your pets' euthanasia requires a very special individual to perform it. While putting down our family Golden of 12 years Dr Lisa demonstrated a tremendous amount grace, compassion and competence. She took her time and never rushed. She communicated very well throughout the entire process. I found her rates to be very competitive. If you need this service I'd look no further, you won't be disappointed!

Dr. Cass came to our home to help us say goodbye to our beloved golden retriever, Charlie. She was extremely kind and sensitive, and somehow managed to stay in the background. We never felt the least bit rushed; she gave us all the time we needed at every stage--before she gave the first shot, and the second shot, and then to say our final goodbyes. She had put a canvas stretcher and soft blanket under him. She wrapped him up with such care and reverence--he looked like he was sleeping peacefully. Our sons carried him out to her car where we said goodbye one more time. A week later she brought his footprint and his ashes in a beautiful box. It was as perfect as such a heartbreaking event could possibly be, and we are grateful to her.

Her communication and explanations both the day before when booking the appointment and day-of were extremely helpful and comforting. My sweet girl was able to pass peacefully in her favorite sun spot on our bed surrounded by her family, and I was able to stay present thanks to the calming and compassionate energy Dr. Cass brought into the room. Dr. Lisa has been the sweetest, kindest doctor I've ever met. My dog was suffering from an untreatable illness and Dr. Lisa made time on a Sunday morning to help my dog pass with dignity at home, in our bed. She was so comforting and kind to my frazzled family, and my dog was comforted too.

If you want your pet to pass at home in peace, Dr. Lisa does a great job of making things calm, comforting, and gentle. My dog was so sick, but Dr. Lisa provided comfort that a clinic simply cannot. I can never thank her enough for what she did for us today.

If I need these services in the future, I will gladly pick Dr. Lisa again.

Dr. Cass helped us say goodbye to our beloved old dog this year, and we could not have asked for a kinder, more compassionate guide through this heartbreaking experience. She spent a lot of time talking through the decision-making process and provided resources to help us understand when the time had come. That day, she gave us all the time and space we needed and was amazingly calm, patient, and skilled. She made a really hard day a bit less awful for all of us for which we will always be grateful.

Lisa has worked with our rescue foster dogs over the years with so much success. She always goes the extra mile to help out, and listens patiently to the client. She is good at recommending a plan, and sometimes medication to help these dogs. In one case in particular, we had a dog in Rescue that was going to be euthanized at a shelter. She was lethargic, and had other issues that made it difficult for her to cope. Lisa figured out that she had a thyroid problem and tested for it. She was right! The dog got thyroid medication and is thriving in her new adoptive home. No other vet was able to figure that out. I would recommend Lisa for any issues. Your pet may have, as she can put you and your pet on the right path!

Dr Cass is my favorite veterinarian - you cannot find a more dedicated, compassionate and brilliant veterinarian! She has been my vet for over a decade and helped me with countless of my own pets and my foster dogs/cats/kittens and puppies. She went to Tufts University, which is one of the best vet schools in the country and she stays up to date on the latest research.
That being said I know she is limiting her practice now to acupuncture and in home euthanasia. She is an excellent acupuncturist and I would highly recommend her services for this.
Sadly, I have had her euthanize several of my beloved pets due to illness and age and Dr Cass is kind, gentle, compassionate in all areas when it comes to this heart wrenching end of life process. We should all be so lucky to leave the planet as peacefully as Dr Cass helps our pets leave their bodies when the time has come.
