I brought my dog in suffering from symptoms of Acute Kidney Injury. The reception staff worked me into the schedule the day I called in. They were compassionate and friendly, even offering my dog water to drink while we waited on the room.

Dr. Donovan discussed the lab results without beating around the bush: that my dog had some serious results and offered a treatment plan. This care plan included essential aspects of treatment including my dog's GI management, IVF therapy, and nutrition. I was pleased with how quickly they implemented the plan, and Dr. Donovan answered my questions.

The veterinary assistant, offered updates during the hospitalization that were very helpful.

At discharge, Dr. Thornton gave us an EXCELLENT understanding of my dog's condition and care needs including follow-up visits. She covered that day's lab results and offered to answer my questions.

We appreciate all of the care that the hospital provided our dog. It means the world to us to be able to trust them with our beloved family member.

Our sweet fur baby Ruger got parvo and Lake Cumberland Animal Hospital went above and beyond for our boy! Treated him with such love and respect! The vet tech was so patient with him, so was the veterinarian! They explained everything so well! Front desk ladies was also so sweet and helpful! After two days of vet instructions and medications, our boy was acting his loving self again! We highly recommend this lovely group of people for your fur baby needs!

I called after hours because my Blue healer sissy was in bad shape in a lot of pain and would not walk or stand at all this of course was an emergency to me. Dr. Thorton called me back within minutes. Instead of her instantly having me bring her in she went over some things with me to see what may be going on with her. We agreed she was in no major distress and to bring her in the next morning. THAT' SAVED ME 150 BUCKS!!! When we got there they had all her paperwork ready and got her in at her appointment time with her being a new patient. The front desk was very nice and helpful. Thank you Dr Donavon for explaining all of her test and her treatment plan I was definitely looking for a different outcome. You and the tech was gental and made her at ease as well as us. She was up walking around that very night!!! Couldn't believe it myself. Thank you for calling and checking on her today she's doing amazing. I would recommend this veterinary clinic to anyone. We love Lake Cumberland Animal Hospital. Moose and Miles seem to visit often. Quinn only about once a year. They were so great with us during the passing of our 17year old rescue and sometimes days after our appointments they will call just to check on our babies. We even use them for boarding if we are going out of town. 10 out of 10 would recommend.
