This was the best experience I ever had! I brought my bunny Maple due to him limping. The moment you walk through the door you can feel the welcoming love. The receptionist was really nice and professional. The nurse who took his vitals was very welcoming and caring. She updated me with his vitals within 10 minutes of me being there. The other nurse did a full examination and was very polite, gentle and patience !!!! The Doctor who took care of him was phenomenal ! She was so caring, she explained everything clearly, explained what would occur, how it would occur. She left no questions for me to asked ! I was constantly getting updates on what was going on. I was there for a few hours, but worried free due to them having such confidence in what they were doing. I felt very comfortable the entire time waiting. The professionalism, the eye contact, the environment was definitely worth the drive to get the best care for my bunny. I very thankful my son and I was able to bring our baby back home. I’m so appreciative of this team ! They are great!

Tufts FHSA literally saved my dogs life after other vets and another ER couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him. He spent almost 3 weeks admitted at Tufts and all of the vets were great, especially Dr. Allen, Dr. Creamer, Dr. Arango, Dr. Colberg, Dr. Wilcox and all of the amazing techs and staff. We’re so grateful for all of you!!

On 10/22/2024, I dropped-off my 7-year-old Elsie for imaging, and a few hours later, I received the phone call no pet owner ever wants to receive. While this has been an incredibly difficult week, the hospital and their staff treated Elsie with so much love and care, and gave me answers to questions that had lingered for weeks. While I am trying to provide Elsie with the most comfortable and enjoyable end of life possible, I did want to take a moment and personally thank Dr. Lisa Gibson, Connor (sorry I never caught your last name), as well as all the other staff who provided Elsie with care Tuesday. You took her needs seriously, and that's all I could ever hope for. Elsie is the greatest friend I have ever had, and I am so glad that she was able to share some of her love with the team at FHSA. Thank you.

Tufts saved my dog’s life. My local ER was closed and my next closest option was Tufts. My boy has seizures and they took him back to triage immediately upon our arrival. Dr. Wilson and their team are a true gift, staying until 3:00 am to perform life-saving GVD (bloat) surgery. The entire staff - front desk, vet techs, students and vets - were extremely compassionate and literally wiped away my tears. The genuine love they had for my dog was palpable and I’ll forever be grateful for the high level of care he received.

I had too many visits due to my bunny having a chronic incurable disease. But with their experienced staff, we were able to determine the cause of her symptoms and manage until it was no longer in her best interest to continue. I appreciate the immense support and compassion of the staff. It is an ER. You may have to wait! The expertise is worth it though.

Had to bring my six month old puppy there because she went crashing through a storm door window. She had a big cut on a paw and a little tear of her tendon.
They have been amazing here, I would recommend anybody going there close by. There should be closer animal hospitals for emergencies.
This one is great, that’s why I gave it five stars.

If I could leave zero stars I would. I was recommended to come to this location due to my dog being seen at the emergency hospital in West Springfield. I was told that this hospital would provide an ultrasound to determine if my dog has swallowed something he was not supposed too. I arrive and they take in my dog, I didn’t hear from a nurse until 2 hours later. Then a provider came to me stating that they did labs and recommended another xray. My referral paperwork stated I needed to get an ultrasound but instead I was told that and xray will be more proficient. I agreed as I have been waiting for about 4 hours now. Two hours later the provider comes back and states that they have not did the xray yet and want to keep him overnight even though my dog was stable and doing fine. It is 10pm and I’m furious, I live an hour away and have been at the vet since 7am. No one came and thought to notify me that my dog still hasn’t received an X-ray hours later. Me and my finance then agreed to take him some place else for an ultrasound. I paid over $500 to wait for 8 hours and receive no ANSWERS. Do NOT come here. They will use up your money!!!!

So expensive for hours waiting around for a regular specialist appointment. It wasn't even an emergency, we had this appointment booked and it still took 2.5 hours for them to do no tests and recommend like 6 different medications for my dog, and forget half the information I was supposed to leave with. 650$ later, I will never go back. The appointment would have taken 20 minutes at a regular vet and cost less than half that. And they weren't even able to come up with any answers. This place is nowhere near as good as I was expecting.
