Dr. Jenny Rodriguez has taken care of my pets for many, many years now. The staff is always wonderful. I hate to hear that Dr. Jenny retired but I’m looking forward to meeting the new vet.

I have been bringing my pets to Riverbark in Spring Lake for the last couple of years. While all the Ladies are wonderful. I have to give a it to the ladies at the front desk, it is always so busy in the lobby and they all seem to manage it well. As hectic as it gets, those ladies greet me by name both me and my pet, and make us feel at ease.

I have been going here for over 8 years but no more. Like many reviews since Dr Jenny retired I agree this location has gone down hill. Today was my first visit since she retired and will be my last. I was on time for my appointment and they put 2 dogs that came after us and one of them was vicious and lunging at my small dogs. I walked out and canceled my appointment, now looking for a new vet.

Unfortunately I have to leave a 1 star review. I have been taking my pets here for 11 yrs (originally Manchester Vet Clinic) it started out as 10 star clinic. However after they sold out to Riverbark it's been slowly dropping stars. Monday I had annual appointments for 2 dogs, starting from making the appointment I knew things had changed since my last visit. I was placed on hold for almost 10 minutes, then the phone rang and went to voicemail. I called back was asked to hold again, when I told the receptionist what just happened. She said well we have customers so you will have to hold. I told her "people on the phone are customers also", she asked me to hold. Day of the appointment, it almost felt like I was bothering the receptionist that checked me in. During the actual appointment I discovered my regular Vet the original owner had retired, and several procedures had changed. The new Vet which supposedly has just examined my MALE dog kept referring to him as HER. By the way all exams used to be performed in the exam room. I had the clinic trim their nails, when the tech came back the my oldest she he became very stressed. Then proceeded to tell I needed to drug him before his next appointment. He has NEVER been so stressed that he needed to be drugged before. Leaves me to wonder what happened in the back? Once again most all procedures where accomplished in the exam room, now they just disappear with your pet.
Nobody was unprofessional, just not very personal. I felt like I was just a number which is exactly the opposite of the way I felt previously. I moved to the Carthage area 4 yrs ago, and drove 45 minutes each way BECAUSE of Dr Jen and the way I felt like she and her staff really cared about me and my pups.
It's sad to see a 10 star vet clinic decline to a a
1 star.

Today was my first visit to Riverbark after trying to find a vet close by to take my pets to for urgent/minor issues (we have a regular vet in Fayetteville that we see annually). The entire staff there were friendly and professional, and Dr. Delgado was a total delight! You can tell she really cares about all animals and provides thorough care. I am so happy to have gone to this vet and may even consider making them our “regular” vet because of the wonderful care we received and the proximity to our home. Thanks again to Dr. Delgado and her staff!

We have enjoyed Dr Jenny at Riverbark for the past 12 1/2 years. We received professional care from all of the staff and would recommend Riverbark for vet services.

The receptionists are so snarky and unfriendly especially the older one with long hair and the real skinny one, if you want to talk about people behind their back don’t make it so obvious and make sure they don’t hear you. I regret not getting their names.
I can’t speak for the new Doctor because my boy didn’t see her. However, the place is going downhill since Doctor Jenny left, from now on my boys will see Dr. Dale at Riverbark on Ramsey.
