Thank you to all the staff at Parkside Animal Health Center for taking care of my big Logan. They kept me informed throughout my pet's surgery. When I went to pick him up, the entire staff said goodbye to him, giving him their love and affection. I recommend them 100%.

My Lindo had dental surgery today and the process couldn’t be smoother and more reassuring! I have switched from a couple of different veterinary offices trying to find one that can best asses my boy and I definitely have found it! The staff is so amazing and friendly, and Dr. E gave me so much amazing information about the procedure before and after and was very upfront and honest about the cost, recovery, and treatment. I was called a couple of times throughout the surgery to get updates and post op information so it was very reassuring and I didn’t have to worry while he was there 🙂

The reason I'm only doing 3 stars instead of 5 is because of how they choose to only accept care credit payment plans for a 6 month period, no matter the cost. The office is GREAT & I think comparatively their prices are extremely reasonable! The owner is down to earth & SUPER caring, in fact when she was helping me with my service dog I didn't even know that she was the owner. Her level of caring and the time that she took to explain my options and even letting me listen to his heart murmur we're all things that she didn't have to do and things that tell me she really cares and loves what she does.
I would give 5 stars if only they would allow longer care credit repayment. In my opinion, usually someone needing to use care credit is not super well off financially & when trying to do the right thing, by taking care of their pets, only allowing 6 months to repay no matter the amount seems rather punishing & counterproductive to pet care. Even allowing 12 months would alleviate so much for someone like me who only lives on social security disability and has a service dog, not only with kidney disease but other medical issues. I barely make any money at all every year and certainly not enough to cover even my most basic needs, let alone caring for my pets when complicated and expensive medical issues arise. CareCredit has always been what allows me to take care of my pets by allowing me to make payments anywhere from 6 months to 18, months depending on how much money was charged. This is the first office I've been to where their policy is to only allow 6 months for repayment for CareCredit no matter how much it costs. Right now that is putting me at a HUGE disadvantage & financial stress since we know that if you don't pay off the promotional balance within the time allowed you get hit with EXTREMELY high interest for the original purchase amount. I had to take both dogs in, one right after the other for teeth issues and have been paying as much as possible as fast as possible but will likely not be able to pay off my entire January ending promotional balance after trying desperately to pay off the rest of my December ending promotional balance... I'm not sure why it is that they do this when they very easily could give the option for people using CareCredit, who again obviously need more assistance, more time to do so, especially when they're doing the right thing by taking care of their pets. It's just really sad to me and is the ONLY thing preventing this office from being a five-star vet for me.

Dr hill was wonderful, and all of the techs and reception were so friendly and helpful.
It’s very hard to find a vet that listens to me and doesn’t treat me like I’m dumb, and Dr Hill was absolutely exceptional.
We were in and out with two senior dogs in less than an hour, and my dogs felt so comfortable here. Usually I have to be the one to restrain them because they’re a little spicy, but they were so comfortable here that the tech was able to do it without my help.
We will definitely be back with my other pets.

We love Dr Eisenhower, Shomock and Winton and continue coming to their clinic while living in Castle Rock after moving from Aurora two years ago because of the trust they have built with us over the last 6 years. You have made us feel that our animals are just as important to you as they are to us and we couldn’t be more grateful.

My kitty was comfortable which made me feel at ease. He didn't like his exam because his bottom was being checked but that's to be expected. When done, he was fine, as if nothing happened. The staff was caring and Dr. Brenda explained things to me clearly.

Dr. Eisenhauer was the first vet we experienced when bringing our cat, Juniper, in. She was wonderful and attentive to our kitty, ensuring excellent service. A year later we returned with Juniper for an issue with her paws, we saw Dr. Shomock this time. She assessed for 30 seconds and gave us an incorrect diagnosis. A few months later we came back with our other cat, Jasper. Dr. Shomock did the same thing, remained in the room for 30 seconds and then assumed a diagnosis. We were told by the ER that the specific diagnosis Dr. Shomock claimed Jasper had should only be given when all else has been tested, Dr. Shomock didn't conduct a single analysis outside of a swift physical exam. Jasper almost died the next day and was rushed to the emergency vet. Dr. Shomock has been utterly blatant with her disregard for her patients in her refusal to take the time and effort to ensure a thorough examination. While Dr. Eisenhauer is absolutely amazing, Dr. Shomock makes returning not worth it and we will be finding a new vet for our cats.

I’ve been going to Parkside basically since they’ve opened and they have been incredibly passionate, fair, and have treated both my dog and myself like they would a member of their own family. The vets are honest and make sure to treat your pet with the utmost care, and the techs are friendly, incredibly intelligent, and caring.

I recommend Parkside to anyone who lives in the Denver/Aurora/Parker area.
