The Park - Peebles

We stayed here in March this year and called in for an afternoon tipple on our second visit in December, while we were staying at the Hydro. ||I really like the atmosphere at the Park. The staff are lovely and the blonde receptionist lady recognised us and our pup from our previous visit which is always a nice touch. ||There are always lovely people to chat to in the bar and we met a lovely family from Edinburgh. It was a pleasure to chat with the couple and their son, mostly about our respective dogs!||The only drawback is that dogs are only allowed in bedrooms and the bar. There is a lounge area which would be a lovely place to sit with our pup. Nevertheless we will return next year for a stay. ||Thank you for recognising us and for your kind words.

Nous avons séjourné dans cet hotel deux fois. lors de notre dernier séjour l'alarme incendie s'est déclenché à 3 h du matin (un dimanche) s'agissait d'une erreur (dixit les pompiers qui s'étaient déplacés pour rien. jusque là pas de problème. il vaut mieux qu'il y ait une alarme et que l'alerte soit pour rien. Toutefois, les jours suivants le personnel a fait semblant de rien comme s'il ne était rien passé. nous aurions apprécié au moins des excuses mais non. la femme de chambre est même passée à 9h30 alors que nous allions au petit déjeuner pour voir s'il fallait nettoyer la chambre. Dommage, les autres hôtes sont en général bien sympathiques.

Beautiful spacious room. It was spotlessly clean and comfortable. Helpful and friendly staff. There was lots of parking space and the hotel was ideally situated for the town. The food we had was plentiful and tasty. The extra leisure facilities of a nearby sister hotel were available at no cost.

The Park Hotel is a lovely historic hotel that is perfectly located to enjoy both the village of Peebles and the Hydro spa. Our room was very comfortable and had a great view. We throughly enjoyed the breakfast, and often had a light dinner at the bar. The staff worked hard to make sure that we were always happy. Everything was wonderful. Definitely would return for another visit.

My friends and I popped in for a brunch and next day for supper. Delicious food thanks to the great chef and his team, burgers were top notch. For brunch, however we had a toast and coffee with tea which were excellent.

We enjoyed the interior design. Very well diversified rooms with their own ambience.

Special thanks to the staff and their service. We've been served by a kind and lovely Maryna, she was very attentive.

We'll definitely visit the place once more.

We had a family wedding reception at the Park Hotel it was a fantastic day. The hotel staff were welcoming, friendly and facilitated a wonderful day. The hotel is l comfortable, cosy and very clean. The food was fantastic and everything we had to eat was delicious. Definitely recommend either for a quiet get away or a bigger family event. Thank you!

I was in a large party visiting for a high tea.
The venue, food, and staff were all excellent.
We had a fine selection of sandwiches, home made sausage rolls, cakes, scones plus tea and coffee.
The selection provided for our gluten free people was the best they had ever had.
The staff worked very hard and were always smiling.
I look forward to visiting the hotel again.

What a beautiful hotel! Nice room, friendly staff, plenty of parking and breakfast was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much! You can walk anywhere from this place. Gas station is across the street.
