I cannot sing this man's praises loud enough. When we first got our puppy he got into a scuffle with our older lab and ended up with a laceration on his head. We called all the vets around and Dr. Tempel was the one who could get him in the soonest. We brought them in and I greatly appreciated Dr. Tempel's no Bull shit attitude we knew that we weren't getting tests or being charged for things that didn't need to be done. When it came time to neuter our puppy, we knew that Dr. Tempel would be the best choice. When our dog ended up having a complication that was a one in a million chance Dr. Temple stood by us and checked on him throughout the week to make sure he was healing. Every time we called even after hours, doctor Temple answered and listened to everything we had to say and was willing to send prescriptions into Walmart to make sure that our dog stayed healthy and as comfortable as possible. When after almost a week it appeared that the complication wasn't going to go away. Dr. Tempel requested that we bring him back in and performed a corrective surgery removing his scrotum to stop the bleeding that was happening. It's been a week since the corrective surgery and our dog is back to being a happy boy running around living his best life. I seriously can move to the other side of the country and would still come back to Dr. Tempel for all of our veterinarian needs. This man is the best!

I've heard a lot about this place and the man who runs it. My dog was hurt and I had just gotten out of hospital of 5 days myself. I should of called first, my bad. But this man was awesome. He wasn't angry and he took care of my furbaby. I think I'll keep him as a Vet., if he'll have us.

HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. Besides being basically rude and the clinic being disgustingly filthy, they don't know how to treat animals. First off, when a client asks you to check the dog for conjunctivitis, glancing at the dog's face and going no he's fine really isn't a true conjunctivitis exam. Furthermore, when you are informed that a dog is a rescue dog, and he is obviously very high energy and very young as well as being a giant breed mix, it is the duty of the veterinarian to stay calm and make sure the dog realizes that they are no threat to the animal. Instead, greeting the dog (and owner) showing absolutely no personality or caring/empathetic/nurturing aura or personality, and when the dog gets nervous and reacts negatively to you, your first instinct is to grab a muzzle rather than trying to stay calm and bond with the animal, that doesn't tell me that you have my animals best interests at heart. Having worked as a veterinary technician in the past, I would never have treated an animal that way - I have NEVER had to muzzle an animal. The veterinarian's actions did nothing but validate the dog's fear. When the feral cats in town come in my yard and play and cuddle with my dog, but his reaction to you is an instinctual biting reaction? I don't think the dog is the problem. Very disappointing, new to the area, the search for a new veterinarian continues.

Adam has been our vet for 13 or so years and I’m so sad we are moving and leaving his practice!!! In the last few weeks in Colorado he has been a saving grace!!! He found a heart defect in our 12 week old pup 8 years ago! Today he preformed surgery on the same dog who CSU said wouldn’t likely survive!!! He and his team are amazing!!! I wish we could just drive here if we had issues but 16 hours isn’t feasible! We will definitely miss this staff!!

So good with our dog!!! Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Dr. Temple and his assistants are wonderful with animals and people. They keep excellent records always call me back if unable to answer the phone and they know my dog Gracie Lou. She gets "nippy" about shots and touching her hips but Dr. Temple handles her with confidence and ease. So grateful for him and his clinic. Would strongly recommend
