I absolutely love the Ute Mountain Recreation Center! If you're in the Towaoc area, this is a must-visit. The facilities are well-maintained, and the staff is friendly and helpful. I especially enjoy the variety of fitness classes they offer, ranging from yoga to strength training, and there's something for everyone. Plus, the pool is a huge hit with my kids during the summer months. The rec center also does a fantastic job of hosting special events, like the annual Louise Hammond Memorial Beardance Run. Whether you want to get fit or simply have some active fun, the Ute Mountain Recreation Center is a fantastic community resource.

This place with filthy. The bathrooms were dirty. The basketball court was dirty. The bleachers had a thin film or body oil and farts. It smelled musty or moldy.

The swimming pool is calm and the slide is enjoyable and they let S.W.O.S open high in Cortez use the pool after school Mondays the staff is nice and the basket ball court is well maintained.
