Dr. Amy & Dee have helped my dog & cat tremendously. My dog was in such pain before starting to work with Dr. Amy. Now he can prance like a puppy again. My cat is addicted to Dee & her calm energy. I won't go anywhere else.

I would rate one star if I could. A complete scam. She holds glass vials filled with different foods (supposedly) and tells you your pet has all these allergies (from the vibrations she feels) then tries to get you to see her dietician. No real allergy tests. Our dog eats all of the foods she told us she was allergic to and is fine. Acts real caring but I feel it’s all show and about getting you into a system and getting your money.

Brought my kitty here for a second opinion on her ongoing allergy issues- Dr. Matthews and her technician Dee Dee were absolutely wonderful. They have a very sweet and calming presence, and were very compassionate towards all of my kitties sensitivities. I have never seen my cat so relaxed at the vet. She slept all the way home, obviously very relaxed and happy after her visit (she is normally very anxious after we leave the vet). The front desk receptionist Hana was very nice and the practice is clean and peaceful. Will most definitely be coming back and would definitely recommend!

Most compassionate, brilliant & caring vet ...as well as all the staff. One in a million & truly "pet-centric". Dr Doolittle has nothing on Dr Amy!

Dr Amy and Didi have been helping me with my 12 yr old dog who is suffering neurological and muscle and digestive challenges with supplements, acupuncture, and massage.
They care for my pup and I trust if my pup comes to a point that she can't be rescued and seems ready to cross the rainbow bridge they will help me and her with that difficult decision

This whole office is amazing! I took my extremely nervous dog Grace there yesterday to have her teeth cleaned by Deb Sullivan. What an amazing experience without Grace having to be put under anesthesia. Her teeth are so clean. I was honestly nervous that Grace may be too nervous, but when I returned to pick her up, I noticed such a calmness with Grace and can't believe how good her teeth look. Deb is so nice and I was comfortable with her taking Grace within a minute of speaking with her. I love having all 4 of my dogs nails trimmed with Dr. Matthews because she is so thorough! Dee is wonderful too because she makes my pups so comfortable while they are there! Thank you so my friend Brittney who recommended this office to me!!

I meant to edit my original review but deleted it. I feel compelled to share my experience after seeing the original 5 star review I left them a year ago and no longer applies. I would not recommend this vet. I took my senior dog here and was ill advised to remove her from her pancreatic prescription food because she was "allergic" to it (through a method of testing that's not proven). Which started a downhill spiral for my dog who died a month later. I am a spiritual person and believe in my holistic modalities. However, I also believe in science. I regret listening to Dr. Matthew's instead of the more conventional vet I saw who was shocked when I saw I was told to change her food.

Do as I say, not as I do

I went to visit Dr. Amy Matthews because I wanted a fresh set of eyes on my dog. No matter what the other veterinarians did to help her, Lucy just kept having exacerbations (approx. every 4-6 weeks) of her irritable bowel syndrome which caused her pain and bleeding and caused me to hemorrhage money in search of a cure. I wanted a different approach and Dr. Amy provided that.
But early on in the veterinarian-client relationship, Dr. Amy became ill and a member of her staff called me within hours of Lucy’s visit to tell me that the appointment was cancelled because of illness. I didn’t complain and charge her a fee for cancelling without 24 hours’ notice, I simply told the member of staff that I hoped she felt better and I was grateful that she had the common courtesy to let us know she was ill instead of potentially spreading the illness by keeping the appointment, especially in this dangerous time of Covid-19.
Fast forward to March 19th, I woke feeling body aches, chills, and had a fever, in fact I couldn’t even lift my head off the pillow. In this time of an ongoing pandemic I felt it best to cancel the appointment instead of exposing others to whatever caused my illness.
Later, when I felt a bit better, I scrolled through my emails to find I had been charged $40 for the appointment that never happened. When I called the office to ask about the charge and to say that I am truly ill and would NEVER cancel an appointment without proper notice unless it was absolutely necessary, I was encouraged to email Dr. Amy to explain the circumstances of the absence.
I did just that and gave information that I would never think of sharing with someone not associated with my own healthcare. It was embarrassing but I thought if she knew this wasn’t simply a “I don’t feel like it” cancellation, she would make a one-time exception for this legitimate illness.
The office manager, Nick, wrote back and told me that the policy was firm and they would not make any exceptions. When I pointed out that the exact same thing had happened to me because of Dr. Amy’s illness, he said it was unfortunate but that I had signed something as a new client that spelled out the cancellation policy and that my money would not be refunded. And then he added this, just to make a point: “ If possible, we might suggest arranging alternate means of transportation on appointment days in the future.”
IF THERE HAD BEEN A POSSIBLE ALTERNATE MEANS OF TRANSPORTATION, DON’T THEY THINK I WOULD HAVE USED IT?!
Do as I say, not as I do…absolutely no reciprocity or consideration for the facts. So I cancelled any further appointments and will not be returning. And just as an aside, nothing Dr. Amy did made any lasting difference in Lucy’s condition. (See below)

As an addendum to my review, some of the meds/treatments Dr. Amy prescribed did eventually work well on my dog as I didn't stop giving her one of the products. It is a real shame that they were so unbending with their policy because were it not for that policy, I would have returned and not written this poor review. In general I like to write positive reviews but in this case, I felt the need to warn other prospective patients.
