My dog Molly was having a hard time. She could no longer stand and had difficulty even holding up her head the last day. I’d just come home from a vacation and seeing how she was suffering called Laps of Love. The person answering was kind and understanding and Dr Hilary came out that evening and was so kind and gentle. She sat on the floor beside her and us and Molly never reacted to what was being done to her even though she was alert. Dr Hilary gave us time to spend with her and Molly just stayed in her own bed - not afraid. After we said our goodbyes she was lifted on a stretcher into the car which I understand was adorned with flowers. I wish I had gone out to see it but was crying. Certainly this was a very compassionate way to provide a traumatic closing to your pet’s last day. Excellent service! Thank you!! ❤️

Dr. Kathleen that came to our home on Saturday was truly amazing!! My husband was still torn on what to do for our Pumpkin and she put him at ease and explained why it was time. Over 5 years ago, we used Lap of Love for our Patch and knew they were the ones to help us through this again. It was the hardest decision we ever made... we couldn't have done it without the kindness and gentleness that Kathleen showed us. From the moment she walked in until she left with our sweet girl, she made everything peaceful for us. We thank her from the bottom of our hearts?

I first love that they offer the service to come to your home for your fur baby to pass away peacefully and in the comfort of their own home. My dog is petrified of the vet and I didn’t want her last moments to be that way. As hard as it was to call to make an appointment, from the very beginning they were so sweet and comforting. Dr. Lolly came out the next day and was so patient and caring with my dog. (She doesn’t care for strangers in the home.) she sat there long enough for my dog to be comfortable with her there. She took the time to thoroughly to explain everything and answer any questions we had. After the moment she passed in my arms Dr. Lolly patiently waited for me to say my good byes and then placed her in a cute basket with blankets and a little pillow. I appreciate the care that went into everything. Thank you so much for everything even the personalized heartfelt card I received after. It means a lot when someone takes the time to realize it’s such a hard time for someone else and to just let them know your sorry for their loss sincerely. Thank you Dr. Lolly!

As sad as it was to say goodbye to our beautiful Maggie, we could not have been more impressed or grateful to use Lap of Love. From the moment they answered my call, they were compassionate, gentle and kind. The doctor was prompt, loved on our girl and guided us through the whole euthanasia process with extreme care and empathy. The gift of keeping Maggie comfortable and at home was priceless.

Start to finish, Lap of Love was phenomenal. The first person I talked to when booking the appointment was compassionate and kind. They made the booking process easy. When the day arrived to say goodbye to our sweet cat, Dr. Lolly arrived on time and prepared. She was soft spoken, gentle and kind. She let us have as much time as we needed to say goodbye, and then treated our cat with the utmost respect. The cremains were delivered to our vet quickly and the box is very nice. The ability to say goodbye to our cat in our own home was worth everything. Dr. Lolly also sent follow up emails and a card to let us know she was thinking of us. We will absolutely be recommending Lap of Love to all of our friends with pets.

While this was a very emotional hard time for our family, Lap of Love made it as easy as possible. They are extremely compassionate and caring. There is no other way I would have laid our dog to rest. Keeping him in his own home was very peaceful and comforting.
