I am so grateful for Dr Rahal & Neidigh! Our 5 year old German Shepherd ate some oleander and things went downhill so quickly. It was too late to save our sweet girl but we feel they went above and beyond. The communication was great. Dr Neidigh was so patient with our many phone calls and questions through this process. Dr Rahal was researching endlessly to try and save her. Unfortunately there was nothing left to be done. As terrible and painful as this was for us, we truly felt like everyone involved in her care was extremely compassionate & frustrated at the lack of options we had. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts

New to the practice and we are very pleased! Dr. Gipson is kind, gentle, patient and has great bedside manner. She isn’t in a rush and was more than happy to answer all my questions. She is conservative in her treatment plan which you don’t really see anymore. Most vets try and sell you everything, not her! Both our dogs felt very comfortable with her and her techs.

Yesterday I had to put my beautiful baby Bailey to sleep. We called Desert Hills Animal Clinic where we have been taking her to for the past 8 years (she was only 8). They said their next appointment was in a week or we could just come in and wait for who knows how long for something to open up. We couldn't do that to ourselves or our dog. They had no compassion or sympathy for us whatsoever. My husband called another vet in Cave Creek. They said they could fit us in right away. They had never seen us before, yet they were so caring and compassionate as I cried my eyes out. Professional and accessible. Appreciate getting my dog in so quickly. Definitely feel comfortable using Desert Hills as our pet’s vet clinic. Dr. Fowler and her team were very knowledgeable, professional and caring. If you’re looking for a vet that cares about your fur baby, these guys are it.

This review is only about grooming not veterinary care. I brought my bernedoddle in for a routine grooming appointment. Showed the groomer a post-grooming picture from a previous grooming for guidance. I got a dog back that I didn’t recognize as my dog. She had been buzz cut and even that was uneven.I have never seen a bernedoddle groomed like that. Doddles of all types are very popular, so I assume the groomer has some idea on how to groom a doddle. The only reason to buzz cut one, is that it is a huge timesaver and can be done in a few minutes. I get upset every time I look at my dog. It will take weeks to grow out to something that looks normal. Definitely will never return to this clinic.

This place seems to care more about the money than your pets care!

Sadly, I hate to say I just do not recommend this place as I had a horrible experience today with one of the vets. I don’t feel like my time was valued. I felt pressured as this place pushed a $1500 vet bill when it actually ended up not even being needed, thankfully!

Overall, I felt like the staff was extremely rude, and the vet was all over the place. I also didnt feel valued as a pet owner trying to care for his animal. I’ll be going somewhere else.

I took my baby here and was very happy. Not only did they have great reviews, but prices and staff were very thorough. The Dr followed up personally behind every procedure and EVERYTHING done. Even when I called to have the incision check, a staff member called me within 15 mins to tell me it was OK, and the Dr called the next morning following that up. I was so pleased and thankful. They are serious business there. They take care of your babies and seem to really stay professional and straight to the point. It was $385 to get my baby spayed and chipped. If your baby is over 20 , the price is a little different but very affordable.

Do not go to this clinic very poor customer service and office staff is very rude. They need to learn customer service! They should care about your pet not just money! They will be nice when they are new trying to get your business but once they do it is downhills from there. They guy that has been going for six years I’m sure had the same experience as I. I was needing to do appointments backward due to time. Go elsewhere you will be glad you did and pets too!!!!!!!
