Jamas si quieres mucho a tu mascotas los lleves a este lugar, yo lleve mi hijo perro pq tiene un movimiento en su mandibula y de una vez el doctor dijo "es que tiene los dientes sucios", nunca examino mi perrito , solo dijo que eran los dientes, me cargaron 200 dollares por examen de sangre pq lo ivan a sedar para hacerle el procedimiento, por cierto nunca le afeitaron su patica para hacerle los analysis y sacar su sangre, luego me cobraron 300 dollars por la limpieza que hoy a menos de un mes las muelas estan casi igual , hoy 4/6/24 lo lleve a otro medico y me recomendo hacer radiografia para descartar un problema en la mandibula y despues repetir la limpieza dental, yo no recomiendo ese lugar de ninguna manera, especialmente si usted ama a su mascota como yo le dije al señor, usted ve un perro y para usted es un negocio $$$$ , para mi es mi hijo y yo quiero la mejor atencion para el.

We made the most difficult decision today to put our sweet boy to rest. We had a 5:00 p.m. appointment, by 5:20 we were checking out. The lack of empathy that this office, particularly Dr Kumar showed was nothing short of traumatic. We were given no time to say our goodbyes, the doctor came in, asked us to move out of the way, gave our boy the medication and walked out. Our dog literally fell over on the table and Kumar walks out not saying a word. Never gave condolences or even came back in the room to confirm lack of life. Before the tech left the room, she turned around and said to me "you will probably see some spasms, that's just his muscles. He's already dead". He wasn't just a dog, he was a son to us for the last 12 years, yet he was treated like a stray dog. I cannot put into words the Heartbreak that we suffered today and to have it been at the hands of an office that lacks empathy is unimaginable. I would never, ever recommend this veterinarian to anyone.

I love this vet office. Dr. Kumar is very knowledgeable, and he’s been seeing all my pets for the past 8 years. Very honest doctor. The staff is very nice, Polly, the secretary is always sweet and attentive, and she will always accommodate us. Prices are affordable. They are all very kind and professional. I highly recommend them

I took one of my outside cats, Ziggy here today and the staff and the doctor were great! I appreciate their help with my TNR boy as I have several fur babies inside as well. The prices were really good so affordable to take my fur babies!! There was a young lady who was a vet tech I believe and she was wonderful and knowledgeable. I should have gotten her name, thank you!!!!

Dr. Hong and his staff are amazing. My 17 yr old, Dalmatian has been a very happy patient for eight years. Recently, I took my tiny, 5.5lb, 11 yr old Chihuahua, Daniella, in for a teeth cleaning (very heavy plaque build up) because I had the option of not putting her under to complete the procedure. Wow! The procedure was fast, through and I was able to save one of her back molars (at least for now). The fee was under $55. As long as the owner is willing to participate in the process...Dr. Hong offers an amazing option to the high-cost, lengthy procedure available at most vet offices, where the pet is first put under a general anesthesia.Thank you Dr. Hong and staff. Northdale Animal Hospital -You guys are the best!!

Update: my amazing dal lived to be 18 yrs old; with Dr. Hong & staff's excellent care. ❤ I can never thx them enough.

Now my newest family member; Ana, is a patient too. We always plan a trip to Desoto dog beach after; as we travel from Winter Park for our appointments!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAT OR DOG HERE.
i have a senior rescue cat who now is TERRIFIED of vets, because all three times i’ve taken him here over the past 3 years have been horrible. he has bad hips and a bad back and i told them this, and where do they grab him to drag him to the center of the weighing table? his hips. (i voiced my concerns of him maybe developing arthritis and they literally DID NOT CARE). of course he reacts, and they grab him by his scruff and drag him roughly, even though i always say “let me handle him, he gets stressed when strangers touch him. i’d prefer he bite me and scratch me over you guys.” he dropped 5 pounds in 6 months and all they said was, “oh, he’s underweight now.” i was in for his vaccinations, and the tech told me the vet would talk to me about his weight. so i waited for him to mention it, and he never did. i asked, and he said it was because “he’s an old cat.” less than 6 months later, i suspect he’s in the early stages of renal failure and am taking him to another vet. i asked the front desk attendant if the vet had any recommendations for his weight loss and no appetite, or if there was any way for me to schedule an appointment to get some blood work for him, and they said they couldn’t without the vets orders. you’re kidding me right? i also asked about any recommendations for him to gain weight, and they just recommended me to buy the hills brand after i told them to NOT recommend me the hills brand, because my cat refuses to eat it. i now feed him a mostly raw diet and he’s put on some weight, because I AS THE OWNER, asked for help from an INCOMPETENT vet, and had to put in my own damn research and do my own trial and errors to help my baby kitty because this vet DOES NOT CARE. this is a dog vet, not a cat vet. they do NOT know how to handle cats.

edit: oh yea, every time i show up on time, and every time they’ve made me wait over 20 minutes to be seen. i refuse to stay with any medical professional who does not value their clients’ time.

Dr. Hong has been in our family for many years and has taken care of all of our family dogs. We trust him completely and he always has great vibes in his office thanks to him and his staff- who are always
