This vet makes sure pet parents feel like parents, are seen and heard.

They take tremendous effort to make our fur babies feel comfortable and talk to them in such loving tones.

I could go on and on about them but I’ll keep it short and sweet.

I brought my sweet boy Giovanni in on Sunday night. He was not feeling well and I was very worried. He's 14 and is slowing down a bit. The staff at Davis Animal Hospital were all amazing! Dr Stephenson, Nurse Shelby and everyone else showed compassion and truly cared about Giovanni. The day after he was back to his playful curious self! I highly recommend Davis Animal Hospital! Thanks so much for taking care of our precious fur babies!

I wish I could give 20 stars. Yesterday I came home to my golden retriever with extremely swollen eyes. I got her straight in the car and drove to the nearest vet which was Davis Hospital. Although their schedule was fully booked they still found time in under an hour to squeeze us in. They kept in contact with updating me when the room would be open, supplied us with water, came out to check on our girl, just truly amazing. When we got in the room I had a screaming toddler, and my older child, they supplied toys, cool chairs for them. (My toddler hurt his finger when we were getting out of the car, so they even brought him in ice until his dad got there to pick him up.) They were so careful, and gentle with our girl. Fixed her up, and found out the issue so fast. Sent her home with some med’s, and the prices were unbeatable. Especially for an emergency visit. They even texted today asking how she was. (As someone with anxiety, this was really awesome. I usually hate answering calls because my anxiety gets really bad, so seeing a text asking to either text, or call back with a follow up on how our Maizey girl was doing was absolutely awesome.) This will be who we use in the future for both our girl’s every single time! I couldn’t recommend them enough! Picture of our girl when we arrive yesterday, and how she looks this morning! She is already doing 10x better!

Willow & Leni absolutely love the staff and care they receive at Davis Animal Hospital! Dr Burns saved Willow’s life when she rushed us to Auburn University for surgery for IVDD. As our primary Dr’s here at Davis they have been absolutely amazing and very kind and supportive to me and my fur girls!♥️

I really appreciate the hours of availability that this clinic offers, you also get effective treatment and polite and caring staff, really can't ask for more. My cat was having bladder spasms and unable to urinate, she was drained and began healing and urinating on her own. This treatment definitely saved her from a bad outcome. I also appreciate how the techs and doctor are open to feedback and willing to adjust treatment plans to accommodate the owner while still providing all necessary treatments. Thank you to this clinic!

I took my 3 large parrot here several times, and have been seeing Dr. Sternitzke for years. I cannot recommend her highly enough, I always felt like the staff took as much time as I needed to answer all my questions thoroughly. I never felt rushed or like my vet didn't have time for me, and they asked a lot of questions to get a clear idea of my birds' needs and lifestyle. Everyone was friendly and cared about my animals. Having moved to a different state and now trying to find a new vet, it certainly has put into perspective what a great team Davis has, and I deeply miss the reliable care I received here.

Our 13yr old Boston Terrier, Oliver, had three seizures (with no prior history) yesterday in a 30 minute timeframe - the time it took us to decide and get to Davis Animal Hospital. I left him in the car with my family before bringing him inside the clinic because he is triggered by other dogs. I explained what was going and why he was in the car to a girl in scrubs. She asked a family waiting with their pet move further down the in the waiting area then had me rush Oliver inside and straight to the back. They immediately started working on our boy. With the MOST care and compassion the doctor explained her observations, opinions, our options, condolences and offered my family a private room to discuss and grieve together. We had to make the very difficult decision to end Oliver’s short time of suffering as he had received the maximum dose of seizure medication as well as anesthesia medications and was still having seizures. I truly can’t adequately describe the care and comfort we received or express my profound gratitude for them as well as for their quick actions. Thank you all so very much. Even through our grief, we are so grateful Oliver was cared for by such caring people, who allowed his entire family to remain by his side during the entire ordeal… until his last breath. Forever grateful

My pup has recently been diagnosed with wobblers due to the attentive care this vetrinarian team has provided. His vet in the past was not as attentive and I’m very blessed to have such an amazing team to call and consult with over any issues that may arise. They are all so sweet and reassuring!
