Took my Rescue pup Gus in today due to an emergency and switched vets to them almost immediately. Their ability to see him quickly, the beautiful facility and friendly and knowledgeable staff were everything. Great prices as well. 10/5 stars! Highly recommend & am So thankful for these Angels.

I initially brought my 6-month-old puppy, R?XY, to Cleveland Heights Animal Clinic for shots and an ID chip. The staff was friendly, and things started off great. However, we noticed R?XY favoring her back left leg, limping, and being slow to get up. I mentioned this during the visit and was informed there would be an additional charge for a vet consultation, which I was fine with.

Dr. Houghton examined her leg briefly and prescribed an anti-inflammatory medication. When they followed up to check on her progress, I let them know the medication hadn’t worked, and the issue was the same. When I called back to discuss it, the person I spoke with was dismissive, interrupting me repeatedly. Eventually, I lost my patience and told her to shut up, which she clearly took offense to.

It’s frustrating because they now suggest we proceed with X-rays to figure out the problem. I asked what happened to the $100 I already paid for the first visit, which resulted in no diagnosis or improvement. I was essentially told the process of elimination would continue, but at my expense.

I regret bringing my puppy here. I expect professional answers, not a guessing game that costs me more money each time. If the issue requires further diagnostics like X-rays, that should have been recommended from the start. Instead, I’m left feeling like they’re more interested in profit than in actually helping my pet.

I would not recommend Cleveland Heights Animal Clinic based on this experience.

My review initially posted prior to me completing it. My dog adores Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital. I use them for boarding and she is always so well taken care of. 5 stars for sure. I always prefer to use a animal hospital to board my dog in case something goes wrong. There is always somebody around if something is in need. I’ve noticed it’s typically a lot safer and works best for my pets needs.!!!!

Always been very happy with their service but this past week we boarded our cats for about a week we came back were told that one of our cats had diarrhea. About 3 days prior The problem is they didn't even bother to clean her up she still had poop all over her tail and her legs I feel like they could have at least wiped her off with a wet nap very unhappy.
They should treat animals that they've been entrusted with better than that

I'm so glad I found this place!! All the staff and vets have been wonderful. I've had a couple surgeries done here at this point and my dog Honey had to be put to sleep this last thursday, then I came home and found that 2 of my other dogs got into a nasty fight they were able to get me right back in and had surgery the next day. They are very thorough with there exams and very knowledgeable. Everyone here has been super helpful and compassionate. It's been a very stressful week but they have helped me tremendously. They are very good with the handling of my dogs too which I appreciate very much. Thank you!

We have been coming to Cleveland Heights Animal Hospital for 35 years. The staff, nurses, and doctors are friendly, caring, helpful, and extremely knowledgeable. I would highly recommend anyone who is looking for the BEST vet in Lakeland to pay them a visit. Our ROGER loves them there, and the feeling is mutual!

We had to take our dog into this hospital due to vomiting and diarrhea. They are not our normal vet. But fit us in the same day. Dr Langston was super kind and friendly. He did a great job examining and treating our dog. The prices were very reasonable and service was excellent.

This clinic and its staff are amazing! Today, we were greeted and treated by 3 wonderful people: Dara, Christa & Jessica. I am a newer mom to a great Dane pup & at times have concerns if I'm doing everything correctly. They reassured me that I was and gave me advice on my fur baby's care.
