Since the very first moment I called to book an appointment, they were very welcoming and caring. Unfortunately for my family, we had to put my baby, Trivi, down but the love and compassion I was shown was like no other. They truly made the process of my baby on his trip to heaven a lot more easier than the pain I could have ever handle on my own. They explained every step and allowed me to take my time for my final goodbyes. His ashes were given within a week and even received the most sweetest note + paw print in the mail recently. I’ll make sure to bring my fur-babies here from now on. VCA, thank you for the love you gave to me and my babies

We want to thank Dr. Bork and her entire staff for their professional, caring, empathy and kindness towards our furr baby and us. Our cat Beau lost his battle yesterday. He was given every opportunity by Dr. Bork to be comfortable and have quality but unfortunately his illness got the best of him. But we want to thank her and everyone for their efforts and kindness. This is the BEST animal hospital in Clermont! They have the friendliest staff and offer high-quality service! Everybody is warm and welcoming, and they always make us feel at home. We feel included and valued, and are given honesty, instead of it being "all about the money." During exams everything is always explained thoroughly, and asking questions is encouraged. The team is absolutely amazing! They make our animals feel comfortable and safe, and do a great job at handling. Very happy pets and very happy owners! We love the staff at VCA Clermont Animal Hospital, and will continue to come back!

The service here is always expert and caring. The office staff are very personable and care about every animal that place their paws in their care. The vets are very knowledgeable. The costs are always more than I planned for but they do explain in detail what the costs are for. Wish I didn’t have sickly dogs but I do know they are well taken care of every time they receive care from VCA!

VCA has always been our trusted vet for our babies, until we switched to this location. Our puppy had a visit to the emergency vet earlier in the week and an important discharge step was seeing someone at VCA within 24 hours. VCA was unwilling to work with us to find time to bring her in. Now, almost 24 hours after we should have seen primary care, our puppy is exhibiting some concerning signs again. VCA is unwilling to help and stating we must go back to emergency care, even though emergency care has told them she needs to be seen by her primary for ongoing care. The staff at VCA have been rude, short and it is clear they don’t care about the health of all of their patients. To top it off, they cancelled our scheduled appointment without even telling us and are now saying they cant reschedule.

Sadly our visit was under unfortunate circumstances, putting our cat Notch down. The staff was empathetic from the moment we walked in the door. Knowledgeable, patient and kind. We were talked through each part of the process. While euthanasia is not cheap, their prices were more reasonable. I greatly appreciate the staff and the compassion they showed our family.

First of all let me say that the front desk, vet techs, and staff have all been very friendly and helpful and they are the reason this is not a 1 star review. However, in my experience the last 3 years, Dr Blossey has lacked compassion, bedside manner, empathy, and professionalism and if my rating was based on her alone this would be a 1 star rating. Other vets at VCA have been helpful but unfortunately you play Russian roulette with which vet you get when going here.

About a year ago I brought one of my dogs in for what I thought was a bone growth on her foot that I wanted examined. Dr Blossey was unable to complete a diagnosis and wanted to take a sample with a needle, which I approved and was charged for. When she was unable to collect a sample with a needle she wanted to take an xray, which I approved and was charged for. When she saw the xray results, she was concerned and wasn’t sure what she was looking at. She wanted to send the xray to a specialist, which I approved and was charged for. When I asked her to speculate on what she thought the issue was she thought it was cancer and the only solution would be to amputate our dog’s leg. After a miserable night for my wife and I thinking our dog was doomed, we received a brief and flippant phone call the next morning from Dr. Blossey. She let us know the bump was in fact just a bone spur as we suspected and was nothing to worry about. The one thousand dollars this visit cost us was not refunded or mentioned during the dismissive phone call nor was any attempt at an apology made.

A rescue dog we adopted 2 years ago also suffers from seizures. Dr Blossey has been trying to diagnose the issue for nearly 2 years and has prescribed various medicines we routinely give our dog that are so far not successful. After a very scary night where our dog was having a prolonged seizure, we made yet another appointment with VCA searching for a solution for our suffering dog. Fortunately, the roulette wheel did not land on Dr Blossey and the vet who met me that day had empathy and compassion. We were prescribed a medication we could give our dog to stop the seizures in an emergency situation. This medicine was a savior and on the random occurrence our dog had a seizure the medicine saved his life. When that medicine was running low we made yet another appointment to diagnose the unsolved issue and ask for a refill on the life saving medication. Unfortunately, the roulette wheel landed on Dr Blossey and she refused to refill the life saving medication, even though the other doctor had prescribed us unlimited refills. Dr Blossey told us if our dog had a seizure, especially one longer than 5 minutes, we needed to bring him into the VCA hospital. I informed Dr Blossey that the seizures happened at random times and often not during business hours, bringing him there took 15-30 minutes, and all they would do when I got there was give him the medicine they had already prescribed us that would save his life. This didn’t seem to matter to Dr Blossey. She basically told us tough luck and prescribed us yet another set of pills to add to the daily dose of cocktail she had already prescribed. We now have 5 different doses to give our dog every day but nothing to save him if he has a life threatening seizure. Hopefully he doesn’t have a seizure during non business hours but unfortunately even if he does, the medicine we could administer in under 5 minutes and save his life will have to wait a much longer and more dangerous amount of time, will cost us 20x more in vet bills, and in that situation the opinion of Dr Blossey is, so be it.

Don’t ever bring Your babies here. During Covid , this place killed my BJ . They said they gave him his rabies shot . He was blind before we got home . I brought him back the next morning & he was givien a clean bill of health. But my baby continued to get worse. I called & was denied to bring him back . I rushed him to a different vet , but it was too late. I’ll never forgive thie doctors at this place . Y’all should be shut down & investigated .
