I made a big mistake with Betty Hardwick. I trusted them. I have always kept things close to the vest. But I promised my adult children that I would put forth my best effort. So I followed along and did as I was told. I also opened up against my instincts to do so. At first, everything was okay. My caseworker came by weekly. As I progressed, she came by every two weeks. This continued for approximately 4 months give or take. While at Disability For Action, I was asked how I was doing on my prescribed medications. I answered honestly. The assistant gave me a list of 3 prescriptions to ask P.A. Creech about. Which I did at my appointment in December. Her reply was, "There are people out there a lot worse off than you. Maybe you should go back to work." This despite numerous other psychiatrists and specialists saying otherwise. After that day, my caseworker gradually disappeared. By a month later, she was inaccessible. Five months went by before I received a text asking if she could come by. During which time, I went through some tough spots. I told her no. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. I'm a quick learner. Do not open up to these people. They only pretend to care. They didn't get such a low rating by accident. They earned it.

Dont have sympathy towards people, only listen to lies, never had been treated with no rights before.
Tell me I dont smile, the 5 women I seen getting medical did not smile. Said the name typed on reports WERE eltrontic signed, not a one was signed. I never went before a judge, no attorney was given to me, never spoke to anyone.
They just locked me up 45 days when by law its 72 hours the judge can order longer stay.
THIS NEVER HAPPENED. I was discharged 2 times and on 1 person GF ESTES words and lies i was locked up 3 times. My insurance was fraud coz there was no proof. $60,000. To my insurance paid for lies. VG

I do not remember the name of the girls that drove around the hotel that I was staying at until I purchased my new house but they both were so sweet and generous. They gave me a and something to drink Betty hard work. You guys have some very good volunteers please make sure they are acknowledged thank you ladies. I really appreciate y’all.

Don't feel like I'm getting any better... I still feel the mental and physical issues are there... nothing is changing... I want to get better for my family. This is such a hard battle

They are a joke. You can never get ahold of anyone. You call and get no one, you have to leave a message and nobody ever returns your call. You're running in circles.Just trying to get something accomplished with them. And then they can't help you.

Well the girl up front was rude. They said they would pay for my meds for 7 days until the first of the month. I have refill on my bottles they won't let me have my meds. I suffer with Combat related PTSD. I need my meds

I have worked with them for a while and it's not been the best. I have a lot of words for this place. Like how they have sent me to Hospital's instead of talking me out of crisis because that's pretty much how they get paid, or expecting me to stay on meds that made me so so much worse. They had on an antipsychotic that made me lactate and told me not to worry about it, basically.
I did drug counseling with them and when I told one of the counselors I had wanted to be apart of the psychiatrist field since elementary and was studying off handedly by reading peer-reviewed papers, library books, as well as several updated articles and the DSM-5 itself I was told that Google wasn't studying and laughed at. Imagine telling an Ex junkie with several diagnosed mental issues (including depressive episodes and suicidal idealization) that since they can't afford college at this moment in time their efforts are worthless and then laughing at me. Yikes- basically acting like a recovering addict wouldn't be a better drug counselor than someone who has just studied up on addiction and has absolutely no experience being there, they have some serious elitist ideology here and it messed me up for quite a while. I wanted to quit pursuing my dream career because of someone who was supposed to help me want to achieve my goals and steer me away from my unhealthy lifestyle. telling me my little bit of studying was nothing because they had actually been to college. How else was I supposed to start when I had no money? It's petty and elitist if you ask me but go off I guess.
Just remember that they will tell you they "want what's best for you" while actively hurting your feelings and pushing things on you that you're not comfortable with.
