It’s taken me some time to write this review due to the sensitive matter. But Dr Hutchison deserves this review and all the wonderful things life can give him and his incredible staff. He is by far, our favorite vet. We have since moved 45 minutes away and I still bring my dogs and cats, here. He is compassionate, very considerate with pet owners, incredibly patient and truly caring. He will listen to any concern you may and he will work with you on the best course of action, there after.
Dr H performed surgery on our 4 month old puppy, for what unfortunately, turned out to be cancer. After surgery, she required daily bandage changes. He and Monique very kindly came in on a Saturday morning, even though they do not open on Saturdays, to change our girls dressings. He then carefully showed us how to do it for the Sunday change in order to avoid an ER visit. Unfortunately, our girl passed just 2 weeks post surgery. Dr H was incredibly kind and compassionate and always treated our girl with so much love. The day it was decided that there was nothing more that could be done for her, I’m fairly certain he cried with me on that phone call. I’m grateful to him for lovingly guiding us through that horrible time in our lives. My family and I were devastated, and rightly so. We’re so grateful it was Dr H who was with us through that time.

I’m so glad we found Coronado Animal clinic. We are forever indebted to Dr H and his staff for taking such good care of all of our babies. I simply cannot recommend them enough.

I have found a new veterinary home for my dogs. The staff is caring, attentive, friendly, and capable. I’ve seen both doctors and both are excellent! Their pricing is fair. Not like the other large veterinary clinics that are owned by private equity firms where it’s all about profit profit profit. I highly recommend trusting your pets to Coronado animal clinic. ?❤️

We've never been happier with a Veterinarian. I wish I could remember the female dr. & Assistants names, but they are exceptional people with compassion and knowledge that we are already putting into place (dog training) and seeing results! Thanks ladies for being so awesome. This is now our ONLY vet, even if I have to drive across the state.

I took my cat here. per my manager’s suggestion, after getting a $700 estimate on my cat’s tooth cleaning and extraction from another vets office. Here it ended up only being $322! The staff here are very friendly and took very good care of my cat. After her surgery, they followed up a couple of times to ensure that my cat was doing well. They treated my cat like she was their own pet, and just an overall great experience!

I was looking for a new vet and decided to give this place a try. I have found where we will be taking our animals forever. Dr. Hutchinson is extremely knowledgeable and he also is very thorough in explaining and answering all questions. He helped my senior lab get over the final healing of an eye ulcer so she could return to her derpy self. They didn’t hesitate to get me in for a consult and emergency surgery when my 9 month old kitten swallowed pieces of a dog toy. If you feel uncertain at all about your current vet, go here. The staff is all friendly, the room and offices are clean and the vet truly cares about your animal.

Dr. Huctchison is greatest vet ever! And the girls and techs that help take care of my fur babies are phenomenal. Amanda, Etc. I don’t remember all of their names. Lisa on front desk is most caring, polite person ever. My three chihuahuas have been going there for at least 4 years. The professionalism is the greatest. But most importantly their compassion for the fur babies. I’m indebted to them all. And, you’ll never find a better, more qualified and more caring vet than Dr. Hutchison.
