Merlin and I really enjoyed our visit with Dr. Roughton. She was so helpful and caring for my boy. Favorite doctor we've seen!

I've been doing business with this place for a 5 years And everybody knows my dog personally and I've never had troubles there. Then this manager gets in on the visit and I've always held my dog and she held my dog on his tippy toes to get blood and she was down right uncomfortable cuz that's not how you hold the dog and I've always done it myself and then my dog emptied her bladder and crapped on the table in pure discomfort. Arguing with her was like grammar school and she had to win the argument at all costs and it went as far as I can't even bring my dog in there and my dog needed help on an emergency basis and just cuz she can she went out of her way to make sure I can't go there anymore and never seen incompetence and pathetic treatment of an animal in need and I went on the recording to let it be known if she's denying me services and that is almost entertaining to me and pathetic that someone would work there like that That age young age that's incompetent never mind I was sitting there talking to somebody that was new and she was reading a form because you didn't know what she was doing and somebody else had to read the script and obviously wasn't trained either.
I've seen the reviews reflecting that since his new manager's been there never mind the obvious and I have a big problem with it.
This is a right to work state so all they do is hire somebody else I've seen five different doctors every time I've been in there in the last nurse was only a temporary person from a different country never mind this new manager comes in there and now I couldn't even go there over an emergency matter which is just like a personal thing against me and I took that personally and she has no manner she has no etiquette she's not trained and I watch my dog crap on the table when she's holding my dog up on his tippy toes when it's giving blood you're supposed to hold it with your arm to your side and contain the dog properly and she didn't even know that. Pathetic and I'm sad to see that that place has to go downhill like that with somebody hired like that not trained and don't even know what the hell they're doing And then deny my dog services when in need I have it right there on the recording. Pathetic

CAN SEE THEY CAN CONTROL THE NEW REVIEW SINCE THIS NEW MANAGER'S BEEN THERE IT'S REMARKABLE THAT ALL THE NUMBERS ARE GOING DOWN FOR A GOOD REASON CUZ SHE DOESN'T KNOW BLANK FROM HER BLANK HOLE AND THAT'S SAD BECAUSE I WAS A GOOD PLACE SO TIL NEW MANAGER WAS THERE

GO SOMEWHERE ELSE

About a year ago, I brought my dog, Panda, to All Pets Hospital for a routine ear issue. While the vet, a younger guy, answered most of my questions, I did feel super rushed throughout the visit.

Two months later, I called to get a quote for Panda’s basic annual shots, the ones required for doggy daycare. I was quoted a staggering $700 for one dog’s yearly shots, which felt exorbitant. I ended up going to another vet in the area and received the exact same shots for only $187. As neighbors in the modest New Port Richey community, price gouging like this is unacceptable in my opinion. This made me decide not to return to All Pets Hospital.

Fast forward to today: I called All Pets Hospital about a vet visit for Panda’s arthritis (since the vet I switched to had moved out of the area). Panda just needs a simple refill of Prednisone (which I was more than willing to make an appointment for), and I asked for a price on the medication, as I had the prescription she's been on for months. I wasn’t asking for a new prescription—just the cost, as I need to budget for vet visits in my household.

Rene, who answered the phone, was incredibly rude and refused to give me a price unless Panda saw the doctor first (I had already told her I was happy to make an appointment). I asked for a range for one month with my current prescription and she refused to give me even the most basic of price ranges. Due to my previous experience with their price gouging, I was not about to make an appointment without verifying the price first.

The lack of transparency, poor service, and inflated costs compelled me to write this review as I was going to let it go the previous two times.

UPDATE: I was able to make an appointment with another vet in the area, who was happy to provide transparent pricing over the phone.

I strongly recommend taking your pets elsewhere.

Our first visit and they were so kind to our Charlie. They expressed all information honestly. They were very professional. This clinic was referred to me by my neighbors and they did not disappoint! The cost of the visit was reasonable as well.

Some of the best people and staff. Mr. Flea always has a great experience (I asked him this is actually his review, he said 5 stars). Forever grateful for the compassion and beautiful work this staff contributes for the fur-children and fur-parents! Thank you for seeing Flea every year now and for being the best around!!

I have been taking my pets there for a few years now and for some reason it's not the same anymore. The girls in the front especially Kelly are amazing and understanding and want to help as much as they can but.... the rest really don't care about anything other then money. If you don't come and spend money then your pet is not worth their time. No matter what the issue is mo matter what condition your pet is in you and your fur baby's don't matter. That's so sad because when I first started coming to All Pets they were all for helping your baby or babies no matter what. I have given rave reviews for them because they really did care. But now I've been calling for 3 days about apaquil for my baby and now it's Friday nobody is there on the weekends and I have no answer and now my dog has to be very uncomfortable until they decide I'm good enough to call back with an answer. It may not even the answer I wanted but at least I would have been given the option to make other arrangements or try something else to help her with her itchy self. And it's a terrible thing to watch your baby suffer because they felt she didn't matter. Well she matters to me !!!! I do the best I can for my baby to help her live the great life. I may not always have the money for all the tests they want to run but they shouldn't let her suffer because her mommy can't afford it at that moment. It's apaquil for goodness sake they are the ones who started her on it and I guess they think something different now not even a call to say no they won't or can't refill it. They say they are for the pets health and are so concerned with your pet. Well no that's incorrect because if they did they would have taken time to let me know something but nope no call no email NOTHING !!! So thank you all pets for being there for the babies or just certain ones. I will be finding some place else who actually calls you back or cares about the pet and not just blow her off like she doesn't matter. What a shame people don't know this before bringing there baby in to this place. I would definitely ask questions before bringing your family pet here. Just hope this doesn't happen to anyone else I wouldn't wish this on anyone.

This needs to be posted because this vet is a danger to pets. Not just because of the care she gave, and didn’t give my kitten, but because she thinks she has all the answers. Dr. Maddy, saw my kitten who was in distress and was not eating well. She’s a sphynx and was under two pounds. She kept her for the day, and was supposed to keep her warm and try to get her to eat. We tried to tell her that the breeder knew what to do for her and this specific medication would help her. The breeder even called her and offered to face time with her. She refused. She told us at least three times, she went to vet school. She put a kitten under 2 lbs, with no hair in a cold cage with no heating source. When I spoke to her and found out what she was doing we rushed over and got her. During that conversation when I was trying to reason with her about treatment she was arrogant, condescending, plain rude. The implication was we did something to cause this, and she knew all about this breed of cat she knows a breeder. This girl is dangerous not because of her education, but because she will not look for the right solution to help the pet. She knows everything. The hospital staff was very nice, I have no issue with them at all. My kitten today is almost 3 lbs happy and healthy. I was able to get her back to her breeder who gave her warm fluids under the skin, the correct medication, and 24/7 observation.
