I love Dr. Gatoff! He knows cats and treated our senior Ragdoll who developed several things in her aging - with expert knowledge that I am confident extended her life by years. Our new ragdoll, Ransom, is seeing Doc Gatoff too! Wouldn't take him anywhere else. Ransom approves!

Our kitty is back to his feisty self! It We had a great experience here. The doc is great & the techs and front desk were great & knowledgeable & efficient. They are all good with cats which is rare in the vet business! We didn’t have to wait long & the doc gave us time to go over everything. We only came in for a Wellness exam. Because I was willing to pay for blood work & urine test we actually discovered he had a UTI & we didn’t even know! So happy we found a good vet. And for all you people that complain about the cost, first of all, consider pet insurance. It’s totally worth it. And by the way, our pets can’t tell us what’s wrong so they have to do lots of test to figure it out. It’s part of being a responsible pet owner. We will be coming back & bringing our other kitty when he is due for shots.

Dr. Gatoff has been caring for our senior cat Lily since we moved here five years ago. We had to put Lily down today and I can’t say enough about the compassionate way Dr. Gatoff and the staff handled the visit making sure that Lily was comfortable and that we had the privacy and time with her at the end.

Our first experience here today was everything we had hoped for. Dr was very thorough and took his time explaining. We never felt rushed. All of the girls in the office were very sweet as well. Our rescue boy has FIV, heartworm, bladder crystals and has been having issues with his heartworm again. We are so grateful we brought our boy here. We will now bring our other cat.

Overpriced, and this vet will play on your guilt to talk you into expensive tests. No better or worse than any other vets around. He missed a tumor when I took my 15 year old cat in becasue she was having trouble walking on one leg. Said he took x-rays, but never spotted her tumor. A year later, when she was properly diaagnosed, it was too late for her to be saved. Also, last time I was there, they enacted a policy that required all patrons to wear masks, and would not let you be with your pet in the room while examined. That was the last straw for me, and my new shelter kitty that I adopted has a different vet.

I can't say enough good things about the Cat Hospital .. we take our two 9 year old rescues there any time our cats are having an issue. Their pricing may be a little more on the expensive side compared to what you may see at one of the other vet chains in Fort Myers, but the level of care and the calming atmosphere is second to none. I know my cats' health is in great hands with Dr. Gatof.
