I have struggled with anxiety for as long as I can remember. In 2023, it started to affect me physically. I felt my throat tighten or had trouble swallowing when I was anxious. I read online that this was common and checked my body for other signs of danger, like a bee sting or a food allergy. But the anxiety got worse and I could not swallow at all. It began with feeling overwhelmed in restaurants, so I stopped eating out. But then it followed me home and I stopped eating solid food. I had severe panic attacks every day and I was losing control. I searched online and the usual advice was to see a psychiatrist and get medication. But I wanted to address the root cause, not just the symptoms. I looked for other options and found hypnotherapy. It had an over 80% success rate, so I decided to give it a try instead of taking pills every day. I searched for a hypnotherapist in San Diego and found Kim. She was professional, knowledgeable, and specialized in panic disorders. She also didn’t make me feel like a weirdo, and was very comforting and reassuring. I thought we were a great match and I was right. After six sessions, I could enjoy food and drinks again. I no longer had daily panic attacks and hardly ever felt anxious. I could eat out in restaurants again. Working with Kim helped me get down to the cause of my anxiety. Kim's hypnotherapy gave me the most peace and contentment I ever felt. I was not a believer in hypnotherapy or holistic healing before, but I was willing to try anything to avoid the side effects of medication. I recommend her to everyone I know because everyone deserves the peace and healing I found. 100/100 recommend if you’re feeling unease, from worry to full blown panic attacks, Kim WILL help.

My daughter is 9 years old and is a gymnast. She has been struggling with a mental block with her routine backhand spring. She had previously been able to work through it in the past but she had a fall during a routine backhand spring which scared her and took away her confidence. It was creating this very frustrating mental block again. I was feeling a bit discouraged for her so I began a search for a hypnotherapist. I reached out to Kim. She was so nice and listened to my concerns with my daughter. We had one session with her and it completely changed my daughters outlook on her mental block. After the first session my daughter went straight home to persevere through this situation. She struggled a bit but I could tell her confidence was back up and there was that light back in her eyes! The very next day she was completely doing her round off into a backhand spring on her own!!! I was completely amazed!! Honestly whatever Kim did was MAGIC!!! We are truly so appreciative of this amazing gift that she has. Trust her. She’s a mom herself and I have full confidence that she can help a lot of young kids struggling with various issues.

I saw Kim for two sessions to help me work through some postpartum issues I had two years after the birth of my son. The only way I can describe her therapy techniques is they are miraculously reprograming of the mind. I would highly recommend Kim to all of my friends and acquaintances who have any difficulties in life, negative thought patterns, or trying to unlearn experiences. Kim is WONDERFUL! She truly listened to me and supported my healing process. It is a testament to her ability as a healer that she is able to ask her client “what is working/not working” and can adjust her own methods to better help the client move toward healing in a way that makes sense to them. She is so kind and easy to talk to and open up to. I appreciate that she never “pushed” me to talk about anything I felt uncomfortable with but allowed me to open up in my own time. Kim is just magical. Actually don’t know what I’d do without her. She knows the human anatomy so well and has a natural feel for one’s body and mind...so she’s able to tailor the treatment accordingly. I’ve been seeing her weekly for pregnancy sciatica. The one week I didn’t go- I could barely walk. After an hour on her table- I’m liberated again. Thank you Kim, so much. Truly the best.

An intense overthinker, I was fretting myself into paralysis about a serious life decision. I was skeptical when a friend referred me to Kim, but I certainly wasn't getting anywhere on my own. I told her that I didn't think I could be hypnotized, but, probably because her caring nature put me at ease right away, I did enter an incredibly relaxed state--unusual for me! Using guided imagery, she helped me put my "monkey brain" to sleep to get to deep insights. I now have a clear path forward--phew! I consider seeing Kim once per month critical self-care.
