When adopting new cats, I wanted a vet that was not only financial friendly, but rated highly by other customers with their animals in need of care. I stumbled across Highlands Animal Care, and I understand why they have spectacular reviews across the board.
The team at Highlands is very responsive, great communication, and you can tell that everyone loves and has a genuine passion for your babies. I have asked these ladies countless questions, and they answer each one with a smile on their face and very informative responses. They’ve been active in my cats’ life with every call I’ve made with different concerns.
They also see exotic animals as well, which is wonderful as I’m also a reptile keeper who loves reptiles just as much as anyone else! Their office, rooms, and bathrooms are always very clean and decorated with very humorous posters, which is a nice pick me up if you happen to receive bad news. They’re honest, and not here to do a cash grab-they want what’s best for your baby and you. My cat got diagnosed with asthma, which involved them filling him in on a week where they were rather booked up, but they brought him in to ensure that he was okay.
With an asthmatic cat and a lady cat who’s about to be a senior, I couldn’t be any happier to call Highlands Animal Care my trusted veterinarian and am always excited to bring my animals in and see the wonderful staff! Dr. Francher and Dr. Amster are the best. Thank you guys for everything you do with unbeatable care and costs, especially nowadays!

I can’t say enough about the excellent care, compassion , and treatment that was given to our Bentley and to us.
We are new to the area and had used another Veterinarian to get established. I called them today and explained our boy was vomiting and felt very hot! Without even talking to the vet the receptionist said they couldn’t see us until Monday afternoon! That would be 4 days away! I knew my boy needed medical attention. I called Highlands Animal Care explained our situation and gave the technician the symptoms of our 10 pound boy. She put me on hold spoke to the vet and was given an appointment to be there within 40 minutes! From the time we entered the clinic until we left we had 5 star service! Dr. Monaco drew blood started an IV for our dehydrated baby and gave him an injection to alleviate his vomiting. The room that we were put in was comfortable and clean. I cannot say enough about this wonderful facility and the amazing people that work there. Thank you again to Dr. Monaco and staff. You are definitely our new go to Vet and I would highly recommend you to anyone looking for five star service.

Decided to go to Highlnds Animal Care after a few disappointments with my previous vet and I’m glad I made the switch. The facility is very nice, clean and welcoming. It feels like a spa! There’s a shaded grassy area in the front too. It is definitely an upgrade from where I used to take my furbabies.

The process from scheduling, through to the exam, and check out was seamless and easy. Everyone I encountered was very friendly, professional, and genuine. They showed a true passion for caring for animals.

Dr. Aimee Jones was so genuine, kind and knowledgeable. She was thorough, prepared, and understood my dog’s extensive history since I provided medical records for my pup ahead of time. Although my dog, Roma, gets anxious at the vet, she was comforted by the doc and tech, Jennifer. These visits are tough, especially since Roma is a senior dog and is going through it, but their compassion and service helps tremendously.

They are transparent about cost and made sure that I was okay before moving forward with any procedures, were very happy to answer any questions and were clear about next steps. I am pleased with our first visit and will continue to seek their care for my furbabies.

Great office! Went for our first visit today and had a very nice experience. All of the staff were kind and patient with our dog, and answered any questions we had during our visit. Lex was our vet tech and she was awesome! Gave our girl lots of love and a nice lick mat to calm her nerves before vaccines. I’d definitely recommend Highlands Animal Care to any anxious pets (and pet parents alike).

One of the best veterinarian offices we have been to! The schedule and check in process was seamless. Everyone we interacted with was kind, patient, and very personable. The vet tech for our appointment was Ellie and the DVM was Dr. Ireifej and they were both wonderful with our 2 dog, Kairi and Bella! They were very gentle and did everything they could to ease my dogs’ anxiety while we were there. I also appreciate how transparent this clinic is with pricing for the checkup, all vaccines, and the dental cleaning our dog had. Overall we had a great experience, and we are proud to bring our dogs here for regular vet care!

Unfortunately we had to change vets due to moving. It is so hard to find a good vet where your beloved pets will be well taken care of, and that we, the owners, feel heard and interact with knowledgeable doctors/vet techs/staff. I was worried about my dog’s dew claw that randomly ripped apart, exposing the quick, and called in the morning. They were able to squeeze us in 15 min later! I was really hoping for the best with this new office because I don’t really have a second choice and we needed our dog taken care of without costing us another mortgage. Sure enough the procedure was done quickly and at a reasonable price. We still have a check up to go to and hope everything from the procedure is healing ok, but after this first visit I am a happy dog mom with a happy healing dog. Thank you!
