I have been taking my pups to Monterey for many years now and I have one 10 year old American Bulldog who completed the prolotherapy vs double knee surgery who acts like he is 3. Dr. Stinman saved my boy. Also I have had Dr. Wood who made sure I had the best care with canine cancer and surgical needs. Dr. Wood is our regular Doctor and loves my kids like his own. Dr. Maldonado has been great with helping my Bulldog with multiple gum surgeries. Monterey keeps the prices fair so you can give your pets the absolute best care possible and the vet techs know your kids by name and history. I love Monterey and will be a life long client.

Specifically, my last experience was wonderful. The tech trimmed Maya’s nails, as she had on a previous visit. She’s very friendly and good with Maya and did a great job, just as she did on the previous appointment. I do not remember her name, but she is very professional and kind and friendly. I have been a client of the clinic for six years and have always been treated with respect, very knowledgeable and friendly service, and undeniable professionalism. Every doctor I have encountered has been lovely as well, especially Dr. Hooks, who has had greyhounds himself. I trust his opinion completely. In addition to yearly wellness checks, Maya has had dental work done on a yearly basis, and a couple of emergencies were handled flawlessly. I recommend Monterey animal clinic without hesitation and find their app very helpful. K

My cat hides when people come to our house. She’s afraid of strangers. However I’ve noticed that she’s quite calm with the staff at Monterey animal clinic. I too have always appreciated the way The veterinarians and the medical staff as well as the staff at the front desk treat me and my cat. Highly recommended.

I am writing a review a month after Our boy Tug was PTS. Drs Stinman and Dr Woods were so kind through the testing , diagnosis, and eventually having to decide it was time. 9 yrs is just not long enough. - but they helped us make his last months and weeks and days as comfortable and safe as they could. Their kindness will never be forgotten. Their calm and gentle honesty was exactly what we needed. The staff that also were always there to help - we so appreciate.

I live out of state and needed a health certificate for my dog to fly. Finlay and I had a very positive experience. Every staff member was so kind. If I lived here Dr Maldonado (Monterey Animal Clinic) would definitely be my vet.

Been going here for more than 40 years starting with Dr. Hooks. He took care of all my Shih tzus and put them to sleep when they got really old. I love this Clinic.My Bijan Wilma! She passed away a few years ago.

I highly recommend Monterey Animal Clinic. We had moved here a couple of years ago and they were recommend to me by my groomer.
The doctors show real compassion for the pets they care for. My husband and completely trust Dr. Woods and the other vets as they highly qualified for a wide range of problems. I am grateful as one of my dogs has cancer and Dr. Woods has shown great empathy.
He is helping guide us with what be best for our dog. We love our pets and it is very important to find a good office staff just as well great doctors. Good luck in your pursuit.
