We are on vacation and our pup starts throwing up 20 times in 12 hours. So sad. Thought about driving 430 miles home for our vet, but wouldn’t make it in time before they close for the weekend. Looked up PCB vets and found Dr. Knox. Took us right away, diagnosed the problem and started treatments right away. 4 hours later and she’s doing great. So happy with great staff of his and his explanation and treatments. Keeping my baby away from nasty fishy things under the deck.

Business recently changed hands fm Dr Fountain to Dr Knox. Dr Fountain was my vet for the last 20 yrs... Dr Knox is a MUCH WELCOME new owner. Friendly. Knowledgeable. Took time to get to know me and my puppy on our initial visit. Took time to discuss issues, remedies & possible future actions. If u hvn't stopped in to meet Dr Knox ... Do It! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

First off, this is the best place to take your fur baby.
We have been going to Dr. Fountain for 12 years and wouldn’t go anyplace else.
The staff is so helpful and Dr. Fountain cares so much with her patients.

We were just informed that Dr. Fountain has decided to retire. She sold the business to another Vet. She will continue to work part time, as she is retiring (somewhat).

We wish her well and thank you for all your help with JT. You will be missed.

Dr. Fountain and her staff are AMAZING! Dr. Fountain always takes her time and answers all of my questions. Her staff are always polite and they are very gentle with my nervous dogs.
Their rates are affordable. I just can't say enough good things about this place!
Dr. Fountain helped me get my dog's seizures under control. And when I had an emergency after hours I was able to call her and given instructions so that we could wait (and save money) to bring my dog in the next day. But she gave me the option to bring her in that night but it wasn't life threatening so she gave me advice on waiting.
She is genuinely caring. Best vet I've ever had!

I love Dr. Fountain at Gulf Winds Animal Hospital. She always takes her time. Answers all of my questions. Never makes me feel rushed.
She is available for emergency calls and advises over the phone to try to avoid emergency visits if they can wait til the next day but its always my decision if I still want to be seen that night.
Sweet staff. My dog had surgery and I was having trouble changing her bandages and she let me bring her for the day so they could watch her while I worked and charged me like $25. I just really can't say enough about how much I love my vet!
My other dog has seizures and I wasn't even there for him on one of my visits and she still spoke with me about him. She is AMAZING!

All staff at Gulf Winds Animal Hospital is amazing, my cat Charlotte loves to go there, Dr. Vicky is very professional and technician girls are very friendly. I'm always calm because I know that my cat is in good hands.
