I took my kitty Gray here for the first time and our experience was beyond what I expected. Dr. D and her staff are extremely kind and knowledgeable. When i walked in, I was greeted by Nicole and she was so sweet. She checked me in and got me into a room right away. Only a few minutes later, Casey, the vet tech student, came in and let me know step by step what they were going to be doing during this visit. When Dr. D came in, she sat on the floor and played with Gray to make him more comfortable. She answered all my questions and took her time explaining everything I needed to know about my kitties condition, and both Casey and Dr. D made sure I understood what was happening with Gray the entire time we were there. Once he was done, Casey explained in great detail how to administer the medicine they were sending me home with.
This vet truly cares about your animals! I even get texts from Casey asking how Gray is doing! I won't ever use anyone else to care for my sweet Gray. Thank you The Animal Doctor!!

They are all sweet, compassionate and always take your time with our Ellie and LuluMae! Dr D. Knows her stuff and I think she’s the best! Thank y’all so much for all you do! The Animal Doctor is amazing! The staff and Dr. D were all so sweet. Usually when leaving any vet my sweet boy is shaking. He absolutely loved it. I would highly recommended this vet to anyone! ?

We recently boarded all of our pets, 3 dogs and 2 cats, with The Animal Doctor for a week during our move from Florence to Georgetown. It was quite honestly not a good experience. Our Great Dane, Dash, was sent home with us to our brand new home, with a tail that won’t stop bleeding. They called it “Happy Tail”, and it was caused by his tail beating against a hard surface everytime he wagged it. Most likely they put him in a dog crate that was far too small for his large size. Nothing was done by the vet or techs to bandage Dash’s tail to keep it protected. They just released him to us with a bloody tail that is not wanting to heal. It breaks open anytime his tail whacks a door frame or any hard surface and then he spreads blood on our walls, furniture, etc on a daily basis. We are using styptic powder and bandages to help but his tail still hasn’t healed almost 4 weeks from when we brought him home from The Animal Doctor.

There were other issues as well but I won’t go into that here. Just suffice it to say, we are very unhappy with our experiences at The Animal Doctor of Florence.

I cannot thank all the lovely ladies enough. They were so gentle and kind with Grace. The office and rooms are very clean and beautifully decorated. They were amazing. So glad we chose them. Thank you all so much ? and their pet of the month wall is so cute. And it so happens to be one of my good friends cat ?

Today was Boo Lily’s first visit with The Animal Doctor! The staff was very kind and informative. We had to wait a little due to two emergencies, staff checked with us and made the wait very pleasant. The office was the cleanest Veterinarian office, absolutely no pet smell. Boo Lily’s sister, Holy, has her first appointment next month, and she’s very excited to meet all of the ladies at The Animal Doctor!!?‍⬛?

1/18/24 Today Boo Lily’s sister Holly met Dr. D’Angelo and her staff! Holly loved everyone, she even liked that everyone asked about her sister Boo Lily ‍⬛ The staff is so kind and knowledgeable, all questions answered! Great vet and staff, only place I will take my animals!!‍⬛❤️

My GS feels very comfortable with the staff here. These ladies always love on him and treat him like he's their baby. I just love the atmosphere and the professionalism always shown. They truly care about the animals brought in. Always trying to be sure the best of care is given

This Vet is amazing. We are so happy to have found this practice. The staff, doctor and facility are all top notch. We had to put out cat down recently and they were so compassionate and caring along the way. Our other 2 babies will be well cared for here.
