Attention Do Not Take Your Pets To The Acreage Animal Clinic

I took her there to get her teeth cleaned they over anesthetized her gave her too much anesthesia. They put her under at 1:00 PM yesterday afternoon and she was completely still out of it by 6 o’clock last night. I then went to their office to see if my dog was OK and the doctor suggested that I take her to the emergency 24 hour clinic to have her looked at. The doctor then told me that it was perfectly normal that she was still very sedated wasn’t able to stand up and completely out of it six hours after they cleaned her teeth. Took her to the emergency clinic they said that is not normal and they over and Anesthetized her with anesthesia and I’m very lucky that I have her next to me at home right now. Then just noticed that she has black and blues all over her chest and her neck

everyone needs to know … they overdosed her and I had to take her to 24hr emergency… they almost killed her and now We found these Bruises on her

The Acreage Animal Clinic was absolutely great. They took us the same day. I had a day off and wanted to get my fur baby a new vet and Acreage Animal clinic took us in and were great. They were able to get him vaccinated and ready for summer and so reasonably priced. They also did all his paperwork for the county for his rabies vaccines.

They did a great job with my cats. I've never seen anyone effortlessly give my cats pills.

I found Dr Abed to be kind, gentle and very thorough when examining my dog. He explained any problems he found and their projected treatments very clearly. My dog is responding well to his regimen of care.
All staff in the office were very professional and considerate.
I would recommend Dr Abed without any reservations.
He has also been treating my son's dogs and cat for many years, and he thinks very, very highly of him.

Today was my 5,1/2 yr old French bulldog’s first visit to the Acreage Animal Clinic. Dr. Abed, and Hoda (his wife/Assistant), are both very professional and very personable. You can tell how much they really care about peoples pets because of the questions they ask and how they actually handle and treat them. I am especially grateful to Hoda for allowing me to “…bring Max in anytime” without needing to make an appointment. The Office is very inviting and the exam rooms and work areas are very clean and smell especially good. Parking was very good! I will continue taking Max to Dr. Abed and Hoda. Thank you both again very much for your care and treatment of Max today.

I have only brought my dog here once out of convenient. There was nothing convenient about it. What should have been a fairly quick visit turned into 2+ hours. They said there were going to give my dog pain medicine without disclosing that it was also a tranquilizer. My poor dog was knocked out for well over an hour. I will never go here again. It is worth the extra 10 minute drive, even in an emergency case, for a good vet.

I always knew that they were more expensive than vets in surrounding areas, but I was willing to pay that price to have a vet close to home. However, I will never visit that “vet” again and urge other residents to look elsewhere for proper care for their animals.
I took my dog here 5+ months ago because he had a small mass the size of a pea on his groin area. He had other skin issues at this time, and Dr. Abed attributed the mass to those skin issues. Over the next several months, he prescribed medications, creams, sprays, and a bunch of other garbage that just made it worse. A few weeks ago, Dr. Abed said the only course of action left was to see a dog dermatologist. Off we went to the recommended dermatologist, who literally spent under four minutes with our dog; he looked at the mass, said it looked like cancer, and said to have the general vet remove it. WHAT? Another $200 just for this specialist to tell us that the general vet could and should have removed it months ago? By this point, it had grown to the size of a grape. I called Dr. Abed's office very frustrated and upset about all of this, and they basically had nothing to say.
Obviously, I went to a different vet (something I should have done months ago) who was able to quickly schedule a surgery to remove the mass. The vet at Mid County had it biopsied, and said that the chances of it spreading elsewhere depends on how long it was able to grow for. We are now looking into options as to where to go from here.
At best, Dr. Abed was negligent in my dog’s care and as a result may have contributed to the spread of his cancer. At worst, this “vet” is maliciously negligent and is simply only in this business to rack up people’s bills and take advantage of their trust in him to take care of their animals. My dog is my best friend and I just wanted to warn other local residents of this situation. If you have had a different experience here, that’s great, but be cautious when dealing with this crook.

I have never had a bad experience here. My animals and I are all treated with respect and genuine care as soon as we walk through the door. I have gone there since we moved here in 2014. We have gone for vaccines, urinalysis, and laceration on pad. Every vet I have ever been to is a little pricey. I don't think they are outrageous in pricing. They have always given me options with treatments. We are pleased with Dr. Abhed.
