Pet Emergency and Referral Center is truly the ONLY place I would trust emergency care with my precious pets. I have had to use them 3 times with 3 different pets in the past couple of years, and they have been miracle workers! Their knowledge is extensive, but it's the care and concern that they show during the whole process and stay that is unsurpassed. They truly love their patients. Their communication is excellent and they will always take the time needed to put an owner at ease and to be sure we know all options and outcomes. They are also realistic in whether a treatment should be required - especially in older pets. I can't say enough amazing things about them - from front desk check in to the doctors and techs on call 24/7, each person is incredible.

My cat was throwing up, so I called this facility for advice, and was told I should probably bring her in. I brought her in around 9:30 PM, was met by a very friendly, caring person at check in. I was taken back immediately to a room and waited maybe 5 minutes before someone came in to get medical history and an idea of the current problem. My cat was taken back and examined and within 15 minutes Dr. Pelanne explained that it was recommended that she have additional tests which included x-ray and blood work. I was told it could take up to 2 hours but they would have all the tests completed in house, and have results and hopefully an answer for me. After the x-ray, the doctor explained that many things were ruled out with the x-ray and the bloodwork would give us an idea of what was going on. Within an hour, the bloodwork was completed and it was determined that she has pancreatitis, but a mild case. My cat was given an anti-nausea medication, probiotics and some pain medicine. She was also given some cans of food that was low in fat, so I could feed her before having to go to the store for more food. I was told all the information would be sent to my regular Vet and I should follow up with her. EVERYONE was very friendly, caring, and it made it more comfortable in a trying time. I will say that the cost was more than I expected, but I believe you get what you pay for. And for 9:30- 11:30 at night, it was well worth it. Shaneen and Nicole were the other staff members that made this experience the best I could hope for. I hope I never have to do this again, but I will definitely return to this Emergency care facility to receive care for my furry children.

Dr. Hanson and the surgical team at Pet Emergency and Referral Center are nothing short of amazing! When our dog Suede needed emergency gallbladder surgery, we were terrified, but they immediately put us at ease with their professionalism and compassion. The care they provided was exceptional, and their expertise saved Suede’s life. We are forever grateful for their quick action, kindness, and dedication to getting Suede healthy. We cannot recommend Dr. Hanson and this incredible team enough! Five stars aren’t enough to express our gratitude!

Horrible experience, do NOT bring your dog here. I never write bad reviews, but felt like I had to because of the situation. They only care about the money and not about the actual care. My mom took our dog here who passed away two days later and it was a very bad experience. First, they separated our dog from my mom, and took her to the back room. That was upsetting to our dog because she was 15 and in pain. Before doing anything, they demanded for our payment method while our dog was in the back alone and in pain. Then, the vet that saw our dog just got out of school and was extremely unhelpful/unexperienced. Everything from start to finish was horrible and absolutely no compassion. Save yourself from bringing your dog here!

Best decision i ever made was to trust Dr. Fiore with my furbaby. Excellent doctors and staff, top notch facility. So thankful for your skill and expertise. My girl is recovering nicely. Highly recommend!

Excellent from time I entered to time I left. They are kind and were quick. My small dog was poisoned by Buffo frog. They immediately got him in and did what was necessary so that poison didn’t kill my pup. Great staff and the Vet was great!!

What an amazing facility and team! The staff were so comforting and understanding while my old lady, Breezy, was there for 2 nights. They called me regularly to keep me updated and remained patient during my many calls and visits. I cannot recommend Pet Emergency Referral enough to everyone. I too work in animal care as an adoption counselor at a local shelter, and I am so pleased by the love and TLC that each of these employees clearly expressed for their patients. They gave her blankets, plenty of walks, and were patient with her trying foods while recovering. They even brought in a blanket when I visited since she was so weak, to ensure she laid on a cushion as opposed to on the floor. The front desk girls were so sweet while I was in distress, the nurses reassured me of the care she was receiving, and the doctors were exceptional with taking the time to explain her diagnosis and treatment plan. Thank you for all you did for my girl, your dedication is greatly valued.
