From start to finish i had a great experience with this clinic and their staff. We were able to get an appointment quickly and once at the clinic the staff was super friendly and accommodating. I was given a few different treatment options regarding my dog’s allergies and the pros/cons of each. I felt like i was being listened to and wasnt just another patient. Everyone seemed very knowledgeable and I felt like I was in good hands!

They exceeded my expectations. My senior cat is about to turn 11 and she means the absolute world to me. I figured it was time to take her to the vet for a senior wellness exam and get up-to-date on her vaccines.

Everyone that I interacted with at Newberry Animal Hospital was incredibly kind. You can tell they genuinely care about animals. The vet was honest and very warm. I’m so happy I came here, and knowing I have a reliable and trustworthy vet right down the street brings me so much peace of mind!

My biggest fear about moving to a new town was whether I could find sufficient healthcare for my pets. Having worked in vet med for years, I’ve seen my share of poor treatment from receptionists, nurses, and doctors. I was recommended to this hospital by someone whose wife is a veterinarian with UF — if they trust their dogs with the staff at Newberry, then I figured that would be the best place to start. I don’t know if this is the location my recommender uses, by my expectations were blown out of the water. If I was still in vet med, this is the kind of clinic I would be proud to work at. Everyone is kind, compassionate, respectful, and down to earth. My appointment was scheduled with Dr. Sorensen and I will be hard pressed to ever let another doctor touch my pets now because she was just SO good with them. Even my very nervous, neurological lemon of a dog instantly took a shine to her. Our nurse was just as loving, though her name escapes me and I’m really bummed about it, because I want to put in a request to have her see our rooms for each visit! Both Dr. Sorensen and our nurse handled my over-the-top dogs with grace and care that not only they needed, but I did too, to ease my own nerves. I would trust them both with anything my pets needed. The hospital itself was clean (until my dogs came in with their coat bunnies tumbling everywhere, sorry!) and it was very cute. Not only do they have great staff but they’re also independently owned and have a non-profit. Their prices are reasonable, especially with the rising cost of pet care. I’d even pay more if I knew it meant the staff was being payed what they’re worth. Every clinic, including the ones I’ve worked at, should be taking notes from Newberry AH on Main. Ash and Norman will be making many visits. ?

Our dog was respectfully treated for a minor issue. The exam rooms are clean. The staff all the way around is awesome. We drive 1.5 hours to give our dog the best vet care possible. Her first exam last month was a little more extensive. We were given costs and options that made us feel we were in control of her care.

Such caring and professional staff. They called at least six times to check on our pup after our visit. I drive 1.5 hours to visit this clinic. It's worth it. I've used them for some very serious injuries. I trust no clinic more than this clinic.

Me and my dog love Newberry animal hospital!! They quite literally saved my dog’s life, when he took a quick and unexpected health turn and had HGE. They gave him so much love and care for days and he had a speedy recovery. They always offer fair pricing and meet the pet owners where they’re at and explain everything in a way everyone can understand. Koala (my dog) loved the staff and they would love to see him when he came for appts. Thank you so much Newberry Animal Hospital fam!

The Main St. Location in Gainesville is a very professionally run animal hospital. The vets and techs are a joy to work with, they know their stuff and if they don't they will figure it out and consult right away. From first contact when you call, Megan answers the phone with a joy in her voice that is second to none. She is such a pleasure to talk too, even at 0730 on a Monday morning. There system of no contact pickup and delivery of your furry friends is second to none. There is no delay and they make sure you understand all the necessary information to care for your pet. The spa services make sure your pup comes home looking marvelous and smelling wonderful..... They really care and it shows, I recommend this vet clinic 100% Coco approved.
