We’ve been bringing our cats here for years, and we can’t imagine trusting anyone else with their care. From the very beginning, the team here has shown nothing but compassion and expertise. They truly understand cats and have created a calm, welcoming space where both pets and owners feel at ease.

When our cat Beau needed special care, they went above and beyond to ensure he was healthy and comfortable. It’s clear that everyone here genuinely loves what they do, and it makes such a difference. My wife and I are so grateful to have found this amazing place—it’s like a second home for our cats.

Thank you for all the love and care you’ve shown Beau and the rest of our furry family over the years. We wouldn’t go anywhere else!

This is the best place to go to get vet care for your cat. The reason is is that cats are their speciality. If you have urgent issues they do their best to fit you in. As I always tell the staff “you know cats!” The hospital is geared only toward cats so no dogs in waiting room which is a plus for my cat.

Dr. King is our vet. He is very kind and knowledgeable. I am a very overprotective cat Mom and I find his demeanor calm and reassuring. The vet techs (esp Carly - love her!) are all nice and caring. My cat is now a senior and has health issues and they are very well-versed in senior cat care.

The office staff is a great asset to this practice. Ellen (manager) is phenomenal and she really cares. She puts her heart and soul into the work. Leslie is lovely as well and super helpful. Stephanie always has a smile and she is very efficient. I also really like Sydney and we talk on ocassion about her Vet school work. I think she’s going to make a wonderful veterinarian one day.

I have also seen Dr. L. as well. She is a great addition to this practice. I like that she knows so much and educates you esp. about feline nutrition. Lori is her veterinary tech and she is so kind and fun.

Highly recommend and I will not take my precious feline anywhere else. From my understanding, this is the only cat specific practice in the Sarasota metro area.

I called the Cat Hospital to seek booking an appointment for a second opinion for our cat's kidney care. I left a voicemail and received a prompt phone call back from Ellen. She was incredibly kind and spent over 8 minutes on the phone with me. She answered every one of my questions and provided a high level of service I would have never expected from a veterinarians office that we aren't patients at. 5/5 recommend!!!

Our cat was very agitated and angry, and they handled her exceptionally well.

The Cat Hospital of Sarasota has been a game-changer and life saving experience for my little cat, Goldie. She was on her last leg eight weeks ago. Dr King and his Staff of compassionate, professional and super kind people changed the type of food she was eating, put her on Thyroid medication and literally loved her back to health. Finding the right vet for our babies is so important. I have been coming here for years and Dr. Smith is our favorite veterinarian. She is very experienced and doesn’t over sell anything. Sydney has great bedside manors, and the front desk staff is very consistent with appointment reminders and calling to check on everyone after their visit. They are reasonable priced and I highly recommend to anyone who has cats.
