We were from out of state and my husband was having trouble controlling his glucose level. We had no idea where to go to get help for him. One of our friends suggested Alma Hospital . We had to drive a good distance to get there. We actually had a very , very good experience there. We observed that the hospital and ER were very clean, it was one of the cleanest hospitals we had ever been in. The staff were wonderful and so willing to help. The nurse we had in the ER was amazing! Thanks Carrie for taking such great care of my husband! We truly appreciated her. What an incredible, caring personality she had! Thank you Dr.Adams for listening and thoroughly checking out my husband and giving him the best care possible .
We feel like we made the right decision choosing to go to this hospital.

I have been to this hospital a couple times, and there's only 2 doctors that I like that work this whole place. I try my best to come up here when their here cause they get the job done, their kind, they listen to you and your in and out. But there's only one doctor on day shift and night shift that work in this er which Is ridiculous and that's why people are having to wait for hours to get seen and have a room open cause it takes so long to see patients and get them in and out with one doctor on duty every day. I'll start going to Douglas..

Visiting family for Thanksgiving, and unfortunately had to go to the ER. I have an extensive recent surgical history. Dr Felix was very efficient and professional. With the assistance of Jessi and Autumn everything flowed like a well oiled machine. Even though, Kaitlyn appeared to be distracted and unconcerned through out the night. I apologized to her for having to press the call light and she did say that she accepted my apology. Other than this, the SERVICE WAS AMAZING. Dr Felix has such a comforting and peaceful spirit about her, which immediately puts you at ease. She listened to my complaints and showed compassion, which is a blessing. I have had 13 admissions since 01/2023, so I get scared when something doesn’t feel right. Dr. Felix relieved my fears, because she is so thorough and gentle. All of the lovely staff that we came in contact with was SUPER FANTASTIC! Thank you Dr Felix and staff for treating me with dignity and respect. That is hard to find these days. To be treated like a human being with some compassion and not being judged for asking for pain relief is unheard of. This entire shift needs a raise. Keep u the good work.

I have never been treated with less respect or compassion in my life. They administered delaudid and were well aware I hadn’t slept in 20 hours and I’m 100% deaf in my left ear. They woke me up 40 minutes after I went to sleep, talked to me from my left side and accused me of being uncooperative. I was in a bad mood. There’s no doubt about it. But to be gas lit like that at a hospital is unacceptable. Oh yeah, I left, walking alone high on delaudid and fell 3 times. Great care

Went in for a stomach scope. Almost passed out twice from a headache before ever getting there
Tried to tell them when I got there
Oh ur fine
After the scope the dr
puts me on the same mess I was on b4 that never worked. I've los35lbs from my stomach issues amd he sure didn't try nothing different. They are cold acting people here at this hospital. I'll be changing drs back to the one I had b4 and not go back here to this hospital

Was told that another patient who had surgery was not asking for pain meds like I was. Then I used the nurses button cause I needed help going to the bathroom they told I could do it my self. My doctor was awesome and my anesthesiologist was good but my nurses had no bedside manner.

I had a procedure 12-30-21 for biopsy of throat and stomach and stretch my throat. The out patient staff were friendly and professional. I've had this procedure done a few times before and have always been pleased with my stay. Bacon county hospital is the best and I give it a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I received services on 10/14/18 at able 9 pm. Nichelle Morgan LPN, Victoria Drury LPN, Cristy Mercer LPN and Dr. Wiley Wilson provided great care. They addressed all my health issues. They discharged me with the necessary educational information regarding my headache and high blood pressure and recommended that I see my primary physician as soon as possible. As well as the possible need for me to get a blood pressure cuff to keep a daily check on my blood pressure. The discharge paperwork assisted me with my follow up appointment. Dr. Wilson took additional time to discuss my health issues with my fiance which I am grateful for. The room I was placed in was clean and comfortable. I liked having a private bathroom. I did not get the young lady's name that assisted with the check in process which was done efficiently and painlessly. The security guard immediately assisted me with the necessary directions when I entered the ER. I am from Ware County and feel that the few extra miles to hospital was worth it. I would recommend my friends and family to your facility. Again, I am grateful for the excellent care that I received. Thank you.
