I could write a novel about how truly amazing this vet office is. They have been amazing with the care in all my families pets. However my Benny my sweet old man they have been more amazing than words can explain. From educating myself and my family on dog allergies and what's the best plan of action. Little over a year ago we found out his kidneys weren't ok. Dr Karen was staff went out of their way to answer all of my families questions. To help us understand the road ahead of us. Because of them caring so much they helped a senior dog live another year. Another beautiful happy year. Because of them helping us Benny got to bring so many more smiles to my family. He'd always got so excited when I'd ask him if he wanted to go see his girlfriends. They treated him like the royalty he thought he was. And in his last moments they treated him with so much respect and kindness. They treated my family with so much respect and kindness. For them I'll forever be grateful.

So, here's the deal. My dog started limping while out on the family farm, and I figured it would just resolve. A few weeks later though, it hadn't.

I reached out to a friend who is active in the dog fostering community, saying to her, "Do you have a vet you trust? I'm not looking for a place where I take him in because he sneezed and they say 'Sir, your dog needs a tongue transplant. That'll be $20,000.' " Without reservation, she referred me to Sanford Oaks.

From the minute I walked in I knew that she'd sent me to the right place. Tammy and the team up front - so kind. Dr. Karen and Dr. Brian were so knowledgeable, understanding and willing to talk through all my treatment options. There was never a point that they made me feel less than for waiting so long.

Even though it turned out my dog had a pretty serious injury, they explained it in a way that I knew all my options, what had happened, the prevalence of the injury and treatment, as well as the timelines involved. I left that day with the option to consider the treatment I was seeking, and a few days later Tammy followed up with me to see if I'd made a decision. Most importantly, I got the right intervention at the right price.

There's a reason that Sanford Oaks has been operating for so long - they care about the community in Arlington.

If you're looking for a trustworthy vet that is also a place that you can build a relationship with, this is it.

I was super fortunate to find Sanford Oaks as my vet. Dr Karen is awesome with my dogs. She listens and explains everything. She stays with you as long as you have questions. The rest of the staff is amazing too. The are very friendly and make follow up call to check of your fur babies. Best vet in Arlington.

This clinic is outstanding in every way - office staff is friendly and knowledgeable, vets and techs are kind and take the time to answer all questions. Our doggo is super nervous at the vet, but they use gentle techniques to calm her. I love how easy it is to use their app to schedule appointments and get rx refills. Highly recommend!
