i had seen the Mountain Mobile Vet truck in my area, Blairsville, and weeks before the time came to say goodbye to my Buddy, i had called him to see if he would come out. i currently use Copper Basin Vet Clinic, but ever since Dr Mitchell sold the clinic and moved to south Georgia, their prices have tripled, and the service has gone down......i didn't want to traumatize Buddy by taking him to the clinic to say goodbye.....Dr Kinsey came out, not accepting new patients, but he told me, for this he would come to me, and while saying goodbye SUCKS, it was the best possible experience, under the circumstances, that i could've hoped for. i held Buddy in my arms until he was gone, Dr Kinsey didn't rush me, and if i'd have known then what i know now, i would've done this every time i've had to say goodbye (way too many times over the years). and the cost was very reasonable..... i only wish he was taking new patients....

He came out to do vaccinations on my pups. Did a great job checking them over and was gentle with them. A few minutes after he left my 14 yr old shih was attacked by 3 of my neighbors big dogs. Got her away from them called the dr and told him what happened and he immediately turned around and came back. Took her with him and brought her back the next day all stitched up and for this I am eternally grateful to him. He is absolutely awesome. Susie is back to her old sweetie grumpy self?

I was passing through the area while thru-hiking the AT and my dog ended up injuring his back paw. I called in the morning and the doctor was able to meet me at the Dick's Gap trailhead later in the day for an examination and treatment. He gave me extra supplies to wrap and treat his wound for the next couple of days as well. Fantastic vet and wonderful service, my dog and I are both grateful.

This Vet is NOT taking new clients and hasn’t for a few years now. This vet should state this in their profile. Hopefully, I have saved you time by calling and finding out via voicemail. Basically, stop advertising Mountain Mobile Veterinary because you are not.

I was in need of a vet for my 14-year-old large dog Carmel. She was due for her heartworm test. She is on Heartgard which is prescription only. Due to her limited sight and mobility issues a brick and mortar vet was not ideal. Dr. Kinsey, called me back quickly and he was able to see her the next day. He was very gentle and caring with her during the exam and blood draw. It was a great experience from beginning to end. I’m very grateful to Mountain Mobile Veterinary. Thank you for all you do in our community. I highly recommend Dr. Kinsey.
