I had found a cat that was very sick. Called several places and no one would see him because we were not established patients. This vet agrees to see him but only as a drop off. The vet called and recommended he be pts because he tested positive for FIV. I assured him this was not an automatic death sentence as I’ve had several FIV+ cats and they lived good lives with the proper care. I went to pick him up and they had only given him a rabies shot (shouldn’t do that to a very sick cat), given him fluids and a Convenia shot and that was it (all that was listed on his $350 bill). They did not even clean his face of all the mucous and blood. This was the most uncaring vet ever. I brought him home and with the assistance of a friend, treated him holistically and he is the healthiest FIV+ cat ever living his best life. Pictures are of him in the condition the vet sent him home and the other is him today after being treated at home holistically.

If you actually care about your pets, you best get a second diagnosis from other vets because the way these vets and staff will dismiss you is beyond me. Also, they don’t keep any paperwork truly up to date, and if you try to switch vets, don’t trust them to send the complete history of your pets to the new vet. Because they can’t even do that. And it shouldn’t be a CUSTOMERS job to fix staff errors consistently. At this point, why not put me on payroll too. Seriously, if you care about your pets and feel like something is going on with them, these vets and staff are the kings and queens of gaslighting you until the issue in your pets have manifested into something worse. Pet owners, don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Will never use this vet. They called our name but only wanted my dog. Wanted me to stay in the waiting room. I've never gone to the vet and not be allowed in the room. My neighbor takes her dog here and loves the staff. The staff member started giving me attitude when I asked when I would get to go back and talk with the vet. I left and ended up making the drive to Roswell to the vet I've used since adopting. Something just didn't sit right with me of not being able to go back into the room for the appointment.

Gracious staff and we love Dr. Potts. They are kind to my cats and they will also calm the owner if you tend to freak out over your fur baby.
They really work you in for emergencies and it is easy to get a regular appointment.
We have used these vets for several years.

The lack of any payment plan and the placement of non-negotiable fees for treatment and exams is insane. The ceiling is ridiculous. An exam for something as simple as looking at a limb for 3 minutes will cost you nearly $100. Adjusting that cost hourly puts these people in the top 10% earners of the United States, which is impossible, so why is it this expensive? Putting a bandage on that limb will cost you nearly $60. This would be "fine" with a monthly payment strategy or installment plan. The staff is fine, rarely as attentive and detail oriented as a smaller local vet would be expected to be, but they're competent. Which is why I'm not giving this place 0 stars. But the ownership/leadership's philosophy toward helping families and more importantly patients financially makes this place a pretty terrible pick for anyone that just wants to see their pets get better.
