This place is amazing! Everyone is so helpful, knowledgeable and kind. They really care about your animal's wellbeing. We had our dog's ears cropped and from the beginning to the end they were fantastic. Our puppy was so excited when we pulled into the parking lot because he knew he was going to see his friends. His care was top notch, and his ears came out beautiful. We are so thankful to everyone who cared for our baby! I would never go anywhere else.

Dogwood is an amazing clinic for any pet! They are extremely friendly and professional. I never doubted their integrity for one moment. They were honest upfront and I enjoyed the environment of other owners interacting with us. Everyone seemed to know each other and that was an amazing feeling. My visit with them was to get my puppies ears done, cane corso style!!! I was extremely impressed by the process and care afterwards. They did a great job with the surgery and managing the discomfort with the proper medication and care. They followed up more than expected and created an open door for emergencies or even to retape the ears!! Thank you Dogwood for such an amazing experience!!

Ever since my first experience when I had Toro’s ears cropped at Dogwood, each visit has been a pleasure. I love how the tech’s handle my pup. I have a 7 month, 116 pound Cane Corso that can be a hand full with strangers. Each tech that has taken him without my assistance (or pinch collar) are gentle, patient and love on my boy as if he were theirs. The only negative I have is that, my baby never wants to leave and fights me to get back to his friends. 🙂

I travel an hour from McDonough, GA because my big boy loves everyone he meets from Dogwood. I’m never concerned with his care and know he’s in great hands. I appreciate how they make every effort to keep dogs away from each other when they have a full day of appointments.

Understand, things happen and this vet is extremely popular and in high demand because of our comments, praises and how we value them. As they are patient with our fur babies, we need to extend the same courtesy. For me personally, I don’t mind waiting a bit longer if they are running behind. They see more dogs in a day than I can even imagine, which all have to be accommodated by the time they close, and I know they aren’t taking breaks as they should! Just know, when your baby is being seen by any of the doctors or tech’s, they aren’t rushing to get them out and they spend the time needed to ensure your baby is cared for. We are loyal customers and they will forever be our #1VET.

I recommend Dogwood to everyone and anyone I can! The vets and staff here are amazing and helpful in every way, I unfortunately purchased my puppy from a bad breeder and he had many problems and bacteria. The vets at dogwood have helped me get my pup as healthy as can be in the fastest and most efficient way. The vets also did an amazing job on my pups ear crop, and helping guide me through the aftercare every step of the way as well as with answering all my questions I had once I took my pup home! My experience at this veterinary clinic was absolutely heartbreaking and unacceptable. I brought in my 5-month-old cat, who is my first pet and a cherished companion, hoping for some guidance and compassionate care. Instead, I encountered a doctor who showed no empathy or patience.From the start, the vet was dismissive and uninterested in explaining my cat’s condition in detail. He told me that she had a fatty liver problem, possibly inherited from her mother, but he didn't provide any clear treatment plan or offer any pain medication, even though it was clear my kitty was in pain. I was left to ask for copies of her records and had to push for any kind of explanation, which he delivered with an attitude.To make matters worse, he suggested that my cat might need to be put to sleep without showing any concern for how devastating this news was to me. As I was crying and pleading for more information and guidance, he simply walked away, leaving me feeling abandoned and helpless.When I asked for help with administering her medication, he refused, saying he couldn't help because my kitty was slightly upset—despite her being weak and weighing less than four pounds. His lack of care was evident, and his refusal to assist me was terrifying. This vet and his staff showed no compassion or willingness to support a first-time pet owner during such a difficult time.I strongly advise against bringing your pets here. They do not care about your pet’s well-being, and they certainly do not care about helping you as an owner navigate the care your pet needs. I will be filing a formal complaint and sharing my experience on every platform I can. I PAID ALMOST $700 AND MY CAT IS ACTUALLY WORSE ?....OBVIOUSLY ITS ABOUT THE MONEY FOR HIM. HE SHOULD BE OUT OF BUSINESS.

Dogwood Animal Hospital, has been nothing but awesome! If you are looking to have your puppies ears cropped, this is the place to take your beloved pet.
I brought Cash, my new Donerman puppy in at 8 weeks old to have his ears cropped. After doing my RESEARCH. I asked for a medium-high type crop. The most important advice is to keep going to see Dogwood Animal Hospital every week until the ears are done. This is very important. The way that they post the ears is an awesome way of doing it and Cash, didn’t mind them being posted at all. Great experience.

Both of my dogs have been going to Dogwood for a couple of years now. One of my dogs was diagnosed by Dr. Caughman with a chronic illness, which was heartbreaking and shocking. Dr. Caughman’s expertise and thorough explanation of the condition made all the difference. Thanks to the accurate diagnosis and the detailed explanation of the medication and procedures, my baby girl has had many more years to live. The staff is always incredibly supportive, making the entire experience as smooth as possible. I highly recommend Dr. Caughman and the team for their compassionate and professional care.
