They were very helpful with my goats a few months back, they definitely went above and beyond.
The other day I had to bring my cat there, which they took her in a days time. My cat didn't hiss once like she does at her normal vet. I finally found a vet that really cares dearly about my fur family. ?

We took our oldest Chihuahua with a breathing problem. The vet knew exactly what was wrong and gave us a medicine that would help her heart. We are so thankful she is doing great now.
Update: Kandi had a check up recently. Kandi was doing great she hadn’t gotten any worse and she wasn’t coughing very little. She just celebrated a birthday and is doing great. Again we contribute her health improvement to first God our Father and to the loving care she received from Dr Lee Barton.

You must protect your animals from this location! At least, don't bring any cats here. Maybe the staff just feels differently about cats and refuses to give them the basic care you would expect at an animal hospital. I brought my two cats here that i rescued to get fixed, I opted in to a 100 dollar charge for pain medicine. My total price was 855 for getting two female cats fixed. They sent them home WITH NO CONE on their head to protect their surgery wound. One of my cats had opened the wound within just a few hours. I seen the inside of my living cat, where her uterus was. They failed to give the BASIC care of a cone and my cat almost lost her life with infections after having to take her BACK to satilla animal hospital, they repair the open wound by STAPLES with the cat having NO PAIN PREVENTION! (Anyone remember me saying I paid a lot of extra money to PREVENT excessive pain?). Overall, this place is neglectful to basic necessities and valued saving 1$ on a plastic cone rather than giving it to my cat that needed it, almost resulting in the death of my cat. If my cat didn't make it through this, your building would no longer be standing.

To start with the ladies at the front desk are so nice and helpful. My puppy was sick yesterday afternoon, Courtney did not waste any time getting him in to see Dr. Wheeler. She demonstrated her care and concern for my little guy. But, all the ladies are great. Dr. Wheeler was professional and friendly. He got Bear comfortable fast and gave him medicine to keep him comfortable the night. And, gave instructions if no improvements by morning to bring him back. I greatly appreciate everyone in this office for helping keep my puppy healthy.

Wonderful staff and never a dull moment with my Piper Louise.....she eats everything from paper to getting into firecrackers...never have any issues trying to get her in and seen. I also like the calls and reminders about upcoming appointments.

What can I say except ... ? These folks!!! They have been taking care of our pets since it was the old Holmes Animal Clinic. My Dixie Annabelle (17 yr old Pomeranian) loves the care provided for her. I wouldn't go anywhere else since they have moved into their new state of the art Animal Hospital, Kennel and Grooming Center on Satilla Blvd in WAYCROSS GA. We absolutely adore Dr's Blount, Holmes and Wheeler ....they always make me feel like I can ask them about anything. I feel so comfortable talking with any one of them on a personal basis when it comes to Dixie's care. But i have to say that our absolute fav has to be Dr. Griner!!! He has got to be an EARTH ANGEL b/c he truly has a heart of Gold and the sweetest spirit ever!!!!! He has a love for all animals that is so absolutely amazing and he takes the time to call back himself to check on your Furbaby personally!!!
We have recently had to have Dixie treated for a really bad infection and the care she has received.... well, all I can say is OUTSTANDING!!!!
I feel extremely confident that all our needs are being met right here under this one roof and I trust the staff whole hearted to care for my sweet lil fur baby. Thanks for your kindness, concern and dedication to excellence!!! We are your loyal patients and adoring fans always!!! ?

I took my cat, Priscilla to get spayed here on Monday. EVERYONE that I interacted with was great! I was very worried leaving my fur baby with strangers to have surgery, especially since I wasn't able to go in with her. They did a great job putting my mind at ease and did an awesome job with Priscilla! The doctor called me after her surgery was done and updated me on everything. He was very polite and took the time to listen to all of my concerns.
Priscilla is now home recovering and doing wonderfully! Huge thanks to everyone at Satilla Animal Hospital from both Priscilla and I!!! I'm so glad this was the vet that I chose to go with!
