I absolutely love Whitmire Animal Hospital and would recommend it to anyone. Both of my cats have received nothing but amazing treatment every time we have gone. Bianca has been working as a receptionist since we started going there in March 2023 and has been amazing every visit. We have been to multiple different veterinarians, but I want to give a special thanks to Dr Carpenter. She is so patient and kind, and does her absolute best to not only make the pets feel good, but their owners as well. If you are looking for a vet, I highly recommend this one. Even though they are always busy, they always answer their phones and even go out of their way to check up on pets. Unfortunately my younger cat has had to go to the vet multiple times since I adopted him but they have given him nothing short of amazing treatment every time.

I was recommended to go to Whitmire and they did not disappoint! My old lady is 18 years old, so I always want to make sure she is getting the best treatment. She was given a very thorough exam and they handled her so gently the entire time. It was also sweet to see her name on a board of new patients that greeted us as we walked in! Highly recommend Whitmire if you’re looking for an affordable and highly professional vet for your babies!

They are all of them so kind and caring of my furchildren. They are always happy to answer questions and fit me in if at all possible for things that pop up. Dr. Carpenter is the best!! I have one dog that had a very negative experience at a vet once and she just took her time and let him trust her in his own way and time. I moved over an hour a way, but I still come back "home" to Whitmire because my animals love them.

We were sent here as both my dogs needed health certificates to fly to another country and ti be honest we got such a good attention by everyone there, we just decided to make them our vet clinic of choice.

They performed the physical exams needed and prescribed the medication day Required by the country we will get to, so mostly flea and tick treatment and the likes. Then we went to the airport and our flight got canceled twice and we had to reschedule and had to go back to the clinic to get new certificates and they only charged us a fraction of what the original cost was as they had basically had gone through the exams already, and no follow up was needed.

Everyone was so nice to us, even my dogs loved them!

Wonderful care for my miniature dachshund. So far we have only been here for a medical condition and a spay surgery. The spay surgery went perfectly and she healed quickly. Dr. Gholston was also able to treat a medical condition that her previous vet missed. We will be using Whitmire for all vet visits from here on out.

Zero Access

Took my new to me 1 yr old Great Dane and couldn't be happier. Staff was friendly, helpful, and treated me and ODIN awesomely!
Forgive the mess on the loveseat ... Throw everything on the loveseat to make room on the couch and well I guess I have a lot to learn but with Whitmire I'm sure ODIN will have time to teach me!

We woke up to our Yorkie wobbling uncontrollably. We called Whitmires, and they said they would work us in. I walked in, and they instantly put me and my fur baby in a room. The Vet came into the room in mabe 3 min. The Vet and an assistant did a thorough neurological exam and did a blood culture and a body check. They found a tick. Never would I have thought a tick would cause my dog to act this way. I thank GOD for leading me to Whitmire Animal Hospital. They were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! They removed the tick and immediately started showing improvement. They gave us a print out on tick paralysis and informed us about what to expect in the next days. The Vet and staff treated our little Trixie with love and gentleness. It's been 4 hrs and she is doing phenomenal! Whitmire Animal Hospital is second to none.
