I was nervous at first never being at St. Teresa's Hospital, or how to get there living in Eastern Kansas. After getting pre-authorization cleared up with insurance and Dr office, it was awesome.
Getting to pre-op was brisk and efficient. Your Hospital has made a positive impact on me and to others I've told. From Pre-op to, my Dr. Peterson, ICU, all Nursing staff, Lab, Respitory, Aides, Kitchen, Respitory and others I may have missed. YOU ARE THE GREATEST SET OF TEAMS and TEAMWORK, that I've ever seen in a long time. Everyone ALWAYS..ALWAYS had a smile on their faces, pleasant and cheerful. I never had to wait for anything. You catered to my needs and helped me in whatever situation that came up. I highly recommend St. Teresa's Hospital to anyone that I come in contact with. You are A++++ in my books. I'll never forget the time I went in for a yearly check up and cracked a joke about being bisexual and the doctor DURING A BREAST EXAM decided that was a good time to tell me that SHE believed marriage was between a man and a women. High unprofessional. A doctor should NEVER revel their personal beliefs EVER. But ESPECIALLY during such an intimate exam.

I am an RN and had a benign fatty lipoma removed from my back by Dr. Peterson. at St. Teresa. Everything was very efficient, clean and great nursing. Had to wait a little longer to do the surgery because they were running behind. Throat sore for 3 days from being intubated but otherwise went perfect.

My special needs daughter had major surgery and she was treated with kindness and compassion. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience! My daughter has never experienced anything like this before and one of my biggest fears was for her to experience pain. Thank you to everyone who helped her through this journey. Great care team. Only issue was when a person named Abby said she saw remotely that I was in vtac and started causing alerts. Made a big deal over what was determined to be artifacts. Made such a stink i had to go thru another EKG and for a man with a hairy chest this can be painful. I was already being monitored by telemetry. Aside from my afib all was well until this individual got involved. Including wanting to "bet her license I had gone into vtac 3 times. (I could hear the callers voice over the phone.) Aside from that best care I have had in hospital. Shout outs to Jeremy, Brenda, Tamara and Askiamber.
