Such a great experience. First time going here and it was for an emergency (my dog lost a battle with a spicy sky raisin AKA stinging flying insect, and her face was swollen). They were able to get me in for a last minute appointment to get my puppy checked out. The staff was caring and excellent at their job, and their prices are extremely reasonable. We'd definitely recommend this vet clinic. Thank you so much for taking such great care of my dog, Potato. She's already back to her normal happy self thanks to y'all's excellent care.

Worst experience with a vet clinic! Worst
post operative care!

My dog had have emergency surgery to have a foreign object removed from her small intestine. The vet had to remove 2 ft of her bowel. Vet explained that my dog would be under their care for 3-5 for post operative care. Vet calls me the following day, 15 hrs after her surgery, and asks me to come get her. Vet shared she could not handle her care and my 18 lb dog was not behaviorally cooperative. They could not handle a 18 lb dog’s care! She was in pain!!!! She was not receiving IV fluids or heavy pain medication. I explained to the vet that I did not feel comfortable caring for her post op and had a terrible experience with a previous dog going septic and dying. My dog was still released.

She died the next day. Wilkes Co Vet Office never even called to check on her. They don’t even know that she died. So uncompassionate. I will never go there again.

We had to take our Molly in as a new patient on an emergency basis on a Saturday as she couldn't walk.. The entire staff was very accommodating as well as friendly and knowledable. They took their time and thouroghly looked at Molly.. If we could give them 10 stars we would. Highly recommend.. Thank you all very much for taking a scary situation and easing our minds..

We were in town from NC staying with friends when our dog became ill and wouldn't stop vomiting. Wilkes County Vet was able to work us in and help us out. The staff was super friendly and the prices were very reasonable for an emergency situation. We are so thankful to them for taking care of our baby during a very stressful situation being away from home. Would return and would recommend!!
