I have thought long and hard about making this review. Although Dr. Martin and her staff are pleasant their lack of communication and follow through are not. I have been trying to get an appointment or someone to return a phone call since before Thanksgiving it is now December 12, 2024. This is not the only instance of them not answering and returning calls. Sometimes Dr. Martin doesn’t seem to make it to the office. I have also been trying to get copies of medical records for my pet. Those messages have also been ignored with the inconsistent care my animal received or the lack of care, I had no choice but to find another provider. It breaks my heart that Dr. Gradous had to retire. They took his life’s work, a once thriving practice and drove it straight into the ground.

They rarely answer the phone and they never call you back. Only way to get an appointment is to drive down there and stand at the desk until someone talks to you. The office operation appears to be total chaos. Martin has technically been my dogs vet for 2 years and she has never seen them. The vet tech gave my dogs their shots on the front porch first visit and on the second appointment Martin was going out the door to pick her kid up from school when we got there and told the tech to give my dog some probiotics. Springwood Vet has gone from 10 to 1 since Gradous left. Been calling for 3 days because my big dog has a tumor on his paw but no answer and no callback. I just switched vets.

I would like to say I loved Dr. Gradous. Now his practice has been taken Over by another vet. I met today when I had to take my sweet girl to be put to sleep. I have to say. The new staff was amazing and so sincere about what I was going through. They met my request of coming to my car to do (in the cold). I can’t compliment enough. I look forward to meeting under different circumstances. They. Were great. Even made my pups foot print with no extra charge. So nice to have that?”! Thank you

Everyone is so nice. Dr.Martin is great with all of our animals. We actually enjoy brining our pets to see her. They make you feel right at home.

They are the worst of the worst people I ever knew! Since Dr. Gradous sold out to this other veterinarian, Springwood, is a horrible place to take your pet! On February 5th, 2024, I took my doberman to this clinic. After going to the blue pearl hospital, he was diagnosed they at the pearl treated him, but told me he needed more treatment, but Springwood Veterinarian clinic refused him because he didn't have appointment for his emergency. So I ended up taking him to another veterinarian hospital that saved his life! They said if I hadn't bought him to the hospital, he would have died he stayed overnight, and on February 6th, he came home and is recovering. So, no, I wouldn't let Springwood Veterinarian Clinic take care of any pet I own because they are simply in this business for the MONEY!! THESE PEOPLE DON'T CARE ABOUT THE PETS !

My Dog Tested positive for heartworms over a month ago I was in a complete state of shock didn't know what to do so my friend recommended this veterinary clinic y'all Dr Emily Martin & Her assistant Megan along with the staff are truly God sent My Dog is currently undergoing Treatment with them they are the most honest caring compassionate professional group of individuals that I've ever met they truly exceeded my expectations and have made me and My Dog felt like family God bless each and every one of you all keep up the amazing work!

Highly do not recommend this place it’s not the same as when Gradous ran the place Each time I come with an appointment I have to wait hours on end to be seen just for shots . Can never come in for an emergency always told to go elsewhere. If you love your animals please don’t bring them here so many have left since dr Emily took over . And her getting bitten by that dogs tell you everything you need to know about her . Dr Gradous was 90 something years old and never had a problem .

Love Dr Martin and her ladies. They are amazing, sweet, professional, and couldn't ask for a better vet to be a part of our family.
