I was in town for a dog show and one of the puppies I show became suddenly sick. Our on site vet was out and I called Perry Vet to be seen. They were able to see us later that day. Techs were beyond understanding and listened to me about him. Dr Jones was great and very detailed on treatment. The pricing was way beyond reasonable compared to what I pay back home for sick visits (normally 150+). If traveling 6+ hours for a vet visit for my personal dogs was reasonable I would come back here every time.

I absolutely love all the vet techs, the receptionists and especially Dr Taylor Messex. They have always made me feel like my boy is so special that he gets the royal treatment there. They always listen to my concerns and have been very honest and straightforward with me about his whole treatment process. I hate that their prices are high but the service is next level!

SCAMMMMM!!! i am so particular about where my pets go to the vet. i believed this place was trustworthy based off their reviews and being referred by someone i knew. i sadly had countless bad experiences with them after trying to give them the benefit of the doubt numerous times. first off, they don’t read x-rays properly, nor do they care about your pets health honestly. they had me bring my pet in for FIVE separate visits because his cough wasn’t getting better with the meds they gave, the first few times the one vet just told me to “keep giving them to him” and then speedily left the room, i was skeptical about being told that time and time again and i should’ve known better as it was not working in the first place, but i trusted the vets opinion, as i am not the vet. they charged me for ALL of the visits even though it was because of THEIR OWN negligence and disregard to just not reading his x-rays and just continuing to have me pay for meds and visits that never worked. countless times. my pet simply had pneumonia (easy fix) and they were treating him for god knows what, i still have no idea because they don’t explain literally anything to you. not only that, but it’s extremely overpriced. they also will tell you the worst possible conclusion of what your pet MIGHT have with NOTHING to back that info either. after leaving this place and visiting several other vets that have given me TRUE info about my pet, please save your time and anxiety and take your pets elsewhere. there’s plenty of better, reasonable priced, and caring vets in central ga and i have absolutely no idea how this place is rated so high.

Our rescue kitty "Penny" has been a patient at Perry Animal Hospital right from the start. My wife and I are very satisfied with the care she has received these past five years. Top to bottom this hospital is a class operation from the front office up to the veterinarians themselves. We're happy to have found such great people to care for our pet.

My dog has been a patient there for yrs. Granted I'm not the perfect dog parent and typically only take when there is concern. I recently took her for possible tooth infection/mouth issue and a small mass on her belly. The Dr completely brushed off the mouth issue and concentrated on the mass on her belly. He wanted to watch it for a couple weeks. And if no change schedule surgery to remove it. The Office called me a couple weeks later to "check on my dog" and asked if I wanted to schedule surgery to remove mass. I asked if there was anyway to biopsy it prior to just performing major surgery on a 14 yr old dog. I was told NO, that they needed to completely remove it and make sure they got it all. We don't even know if its harmful to her at this point. I honestly felt they just saw $$$. Meanwhile the issue with her mouth had gotten considerably worse over the next couple weeks. I decide to change to another Vet Office but they couldn't work her in for a couple weeks. So as a last resort I called this office back and told them my dogs mouth issue had gotten worse and that she hadn't eaten in 2 or 3 days. And the last thing I wanted was for her to be in pain and or suffer. The girl asked me if I was calling to schedule a euthanization. WHAT? No, I need her seen. We'll, it would be almost 2 weeks before they could see her, so I hung up. I finally ended up getting her in to the new vet..
Turns out she has an infection in her mouth which will require sedation to find out what's actually going on but the Dr there gave her antibiotic and pain meds injection AND while doing bloodwork, took a fluid sample from the mass on her belly for biopsy. Sent us home with pain meds, And by the time we got home, her tail was wagging, and after not eating for almost 4 days (and losing 3lbs in a month, she only weighs 8lbs.) , she finally ate and wanted more. Don't take your pet here. Try Hands Of Hope and Dr. John Hutchens if you want excellent quality vet care from a Dr that truly cares for your pets.

Arrived at 1:48 Waited over an hour for just a nail trim and anal glands. Won’t be booking again.
