This is the number one place
For my fur babies! The staff are amazing and helpful! The drs and staff are very knowledgeable in helping me with whatever may come up with one of them! You get to earn point for cash off on visits when u have visits or buy things! I highly recommend them to everyone

My furbabies were comfortable with all staff, which is the most important thing for me. All staff was very friendly. Great prices, they explained how I could save some money and get everything they needed l, (I had multiple dogs being seen that day). Would recommend them to anyone.

We have been coming to AHAH for over 20 years. We started with our first pet dog Peanut who since passed. They took such great care of him and us as dog parents, which is needed sometimes more than the dog needs care. A few years later, we added two new babies to our house we in at less than a pound a piece, Beast & Belle. They have cared for Beast & Belle for everything since day one including boarding Them when they could not come with us out of town. It makes pet parents like us so happy to know that your pet as well loved that when you walk in and the girls go oh Beast & Belle, let me see them. From day one till now, they still love them like they’re 1 pound puppies which I see them love everybody’s animal that way not just ours. Five years ago we moved to the far west end of Knoxville just about Hardin Valley almost but we still anytime any vet is needed. We go to Asheville highway animal Hospital. A true test was about five years ago. Beast had a seizure. I did not know what was going on how it happened, I came in the front door. He went to go out the door, rolled down three steps, and start seizing I picked him up. He had mud all over him, stiff as a rock he was and shaking all over with a blank stare. I grabbed a blanket, threw it around him, held him as close to my chest telling him it was going to be OK and drove him to Asheville highway animal Hospital. I do realize there were a lot of stops on the way I could’ve made, but I didn’t because I knew they would take great care of him as they always have ! Thank you Asheville highway you will always take care of our pet children! Thank you to the front desk staff for your love of animals and taking care of us parents. Thank you to the kennel team who do a great job giving our dogs a spa day and caring for them when we can’t be there. Thank you to all the medical staff for loving our dogs first and the exceptional care whenever we need it, and our dogs LOL! If anyone is new to the area from Kodak to Hardin Valley I promise you it is worth the drive. And remember we don’t go to the vet that often check ups shots and of course if they do get sick, but driving there a couple times a year is well worth the love & care you and your pets going to get!!

Wonderful vets. I used them many years ago and always had wonderful experiences. I recently returned with a sick kitten despite them being a decent drive for me. I’m so glad I did, Dr. Rick took the time to explain everything to me, took great care of my baby, and the staff was super helpful despite me having no idea how to file with my insurance and asking a million questions. I also like the quiet lobby, especially as a cat owner. Their prices are reasonable, veterinary care is not cheap!

Everyone at the Asheville Highway Animal Hospital was great. Something was wrong with my cats ear. I was able to get her in to see the doctor lighting fast. Everything went smoothly and the price was very reasonable. I figured it to have been a lot more that I couldn't have afford. I am very thankful for all they did for my cat
Cocoa and me. Thank you All for a job well done. I highly recommend taking your pet to the Asheville Highway Animal Hospital ( sorry the two star should have been five star I'm trying to update. For they are out standing with my cat Coco.

Ricardo was and is wonderful. I will gladly take all my animals here. He gave me so much comfort when our cat was diagnosed with heart problems and organ failure. We decided to put him in hospice care and he let us know things to look for when he passed at home. He was very heartfelt and our kitty loved him! As heartbroken as I am over our cat passing away they even gave us pamphlets on cremation so I can always have him with me. Thank you so much Asheville hwy animal hospital!

Good vet clinic. My dogs are terrified of groomers due to injuries sustained at other groomer facilities. I give them melatonin to help with fear and anxiety. My suggestion, groomers who are giving bath, sheer, nail clippings, please put something on their paw pads to soften them up. The pads are a bit rough after grooming or tell me what product to buy and I’ll do it. I am happy with them he haircuts and baths. 🙂

Mocha is always anxious when he visits and they always go out of their way to make him and our family comfortable. It's always clean and the staff is efficient and knowledgeable. It's a friendly environment from start to finish and they don't push any unnecessary costs on you! Instead they suggest options that save you money! If you really care about your pet then look no further!
