We have an almost 4 y.o. lab/shep mix (Zoë Jolene Wigglesworth) who was diagnosed with arthritis when she was 9 mos. old. She's had surgery on three of her limbs when we lived in Illinois. We've been here a year and have had Zoë at AWRC for a full year. She's made amazing progress and I could not be happier with the staff and Dr. Pittman. We are never rushed through a therapy session or office visit. We feel heard and know that Zoë is receiving the best care possible. Applause to Taylor, Julian, John, and Hannah who are all so kind, attentive, detail oriented, and playful. Zoë loves seeing all of you.

We had an appointment yesterday and I was so touched by Dr. Pittman's affection toward our girl. When she finished Zoë's adjustment she gave her a hug and a kiss on the head. It was a very genuine moment. It's clear she truly cares about Zoë. We're in good hands here and I recommend AWRC wholeheartedly.

AWRC has been an absolute blessing. My pup, Franklin, has Lymphoma and has been receiving acupuncture along with Chinese herbs in conjunction with chemotherapy. This is his second round of chemotherapy. He didn’t receive these additional modalities during his first round. It has been amazing to see how much better he tolerates his chemo, and the chemo seems to be so much more effective. He quickly went back into remission with the addition of these modalities. I’m so very thankful for the staff!! Franklin loves them all. We will soon be celebrating Franklin’s graduation from chemotherapy. I am so excited to continue with treatments and modalities at AWRC to keep my boy in remission for as long as possible!!! If your dog has any condition, I highly recommend AWRC.

I’ll start by saying that we absolutely love Dr. Sangid, and appreciated the care we received while we were clients. Unfortunately, things fell apart at the beginning of this year.
Dr. Sangid ordered an echo for our senior dog, that was to be performed by Dr. Pittman. Test was scheduled for 5/20. It was canceled due to a personal emergency. Absolutely fine. No problem. Life happens. Rescheduled for 6/10. Canceled due to a different personal emergency. No problem. Absolutely fine. Life happens.
Rescheduled for 6/24.
Canceled due to the ultrasound machine not working, and no estimated date as to when it might be fixed. I was referred to a different clinic for the echo, X-rays, blood pressure check and further labs. I’m still not certain as to why I was referred to the other vet for things other than the echo. Could AWRC not take care of those issues? I decided to hold off with the referral and wait a month or two (my dog’s issue was not urgent) to see if the ultrasound machine was back up and running. My boy is easily stressed and does not always do well in new environments, or with new people. I called yesterday and spoke to Judy at the front desk to ask if the ultrasound machine was working again. She told me that she had no idea what I was talking about, and that their ultrasound machine had never been non-functional, just that Dr. Pittman was not doing echoes at the moment. I told her that it was upsetting that I was essentially lied to about the reason for the third echo cancellation, and that I will likely be seeking out a different vet.
I do understand about the first two cancellations, but being told that the machine was down for the third cancellation when, in fact, it was not, is simply not ok. I wasted two months by waiting to see if the machine was working again. Had I known that the clinic could no longer offer echoes, I would have just gone ahead with the referral. At this point, I’m honestly not certain if his last three cancellations were for those reasons given, or they just no longer wanted us as patients.
A very disappointing end to a once wonderful relationship

We had a poor experience at a previous vet who was intimidated by my muzzled dog. My dog just had her first visit here and everyone was so nice to her, she warmed up so fast for them and overall did well. They were sweet and patient with my dog and she tried her very best to lick them through her muzzle lol. The visit was really comprehensive and well worth the money spent.

Doggo (~9 yrs) has been seeing Dr. Pittman for a year now. Laser therapy and manipulation for shoulder injury with profound improvement out of the gate.

Dr. Pittman is an exceptional vet who brings diverse but integrated modalities, applied with attention and care. I have worked with a number of vets over the years, large and small animal. Dr. Pittman is the bomb.

The staff in general are attentive and professional. They work well as a team.

I'm glad we connected with them.
They continue to help our pup live her life with as much comfort and activity as possible.

Dr. Sangid is extremely knowledgeable and from the moment you meet her it is easy to see that she loves what she does. We are beyond grateful for what she has done for our kitty Charlie. His quality of life has improved to the best ever with her help!!

My service dog has arthritis, and never really recovered from her ACL surgery a few years ago. She was nervous about being there, but the compassionate staff and doctors are so kind and loving, she calmed down right away. They did a very thorough evaluation, and my dog stayed relaxed through the entire visit.

This place is extremely overpriced and I did not feel that the vet was thorough or very informative barely talks and I had to keep asking questions to get any information out of her and as far as the vet techs they are completely incompetent they could not even draw blood they only got a little bit and of course it clotted but said oh it’s fine we can still run it and then the next day they called and said I had to come back so they could draw more blood because of course the little bit they got was not good. But I was not going all the way back so they could make my dog scream again and no it is not my dog she has never cried or given any problem with drawing blood! I do not recommend this place they are not holistic just clueless!
