Exceptional and Affordable. These are some of the kindest, most genuine people I have ever met. I took my cat in November to be treated for an autoimmune disorder that caused her to have ulcers on her tummy. They knew exactly what it was and gave her steroids. They determined that no antibiotics were necessary but if it didn't get better to just bring her back in and they would give her some. They understood my need to keep the visit as affordable as possible and did not encourage me to spend more money on needless tests.

A month later, the same cat ate a full bobbin of string that I had left out. We had been rushing around the days prior running from one place to the next and we didn't realize what was happening until it was too late. Desperate, we took her to the UGA animal hospital where they told us we could either try surgery at a cost of $6,000 or put her to sleep. They were extremely pushy about doing the surgery and made me sign something saying I understood I was going against the interns advice by taking her home with us.

We were in the parking lot at East Jackson when they opened the next morning. I called at 8:59am and they answered and told me to come on in. They were so kind and gentle. Dr. Jones explained our options, surgery for about $400 or putting her to sleep. She was honest that since it had been going on for about 4 days, we might be too far along for surgery to fix her. We didn't want her to suffer any more so we opted to put her to sleep. They let us hold her the entire time. They sedated her first so that she slowly went to sleep in my arms. They gave us just the right amount of space and support, leaving us alone with her while she went to sleep and then sitting in the floor with us to monitor her until her heart stopped beating. We were devastated and the entire staff was so understanding and caring about the situation. I was bawling like a baby.

I can not say enough good things about this facility and it's staff. They absolutely went above and beyond and I believe it's just who they are. They are genuinely kind and caring people. As long as Dr. Jones and her staff are still here, I will never take my pets anywhere else again.

My daughter and I took my sick cat to East Jefferson Animal Hospital. Oh my goodness, we had an excellent experience. The doctor and her staff are absolutely amazing. They treated my cat with care, compassion and competency. I was offered (not pushed) options for treatment. We did not feel rushed at all.
It is wonderful having this animal hospital so very near to my home.

Best veterinarian my wife and I have ever been to. Most vets just hear the symptoms and give meds but don’t look deeper to find the actual issue. My dog, Goosieford (goose is his government name), has been having a tough time with several small symptoms and after visiting East Jackson Animal Hospital he is already improving and we know how to care for his ailments in the future. Bring your pets here, they will be cared for and loved and actually treated. I love this place and will only be bringing my animals here from now on.

I had been using the same veterinarian for 16 years, prices kept going up and up. After the veterinarian of 16 years retired, I asked for our favorite vet tech only to be told that she had moved to another office. Luckily the person told me she went to somewhere in Jackson County and I was able to track her down and now we travel from Hartwell GA to Nicholson GA to see our NEW FAVORITE Vet. and our favorite vet tech. Service is GREAT and the staff is so friendly. You cannot find a better place for your fur baby to go for it's health care needs. We take all of our pets to East Jackson and glad we found a CARING and LOVING vet to go to. You will not be disappointed.

I can't say enough about this group of special ladies. Our 18+ year old pup had to cross the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. Dr. Jones and her entire staff were so very compassionate. They even gave us the choice to do it outside under the tree, giving her and us more comfort. LOVE THEM!!

Today we took my Mom's cat to East Jackson Animal Hospital. I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience. From the moment we walked in until we walked out the door! They took the time to thoroughly examine my Mom's cat and answer all of her questions. They provided clear explanations about the treatment options. It was evident that they genuinely care about the well-being of their patients, and their passion for veterinary medicine showed through in every interaction.Overall, the visit was exceptional.
