We were able to get an appointment in a very timely fashion. The whole process was very easy from checking in to picking up our little fur baby! We have a deaf Queensland and it’s always nerve wracking taking him anywhere because he can be reactive. They also have a nice little waiting area outside! The whole team was so amazing with him and made us feel so comfortable leaving him in their care! If you need any vet care don’t hesitate to come here! *! Thank you!

My dog had been missing for over 6 months when I got a call from the police department that he had been found and was thought to have been hit my a car. I drove three hours to get him only to find out he was shot by a shot gun and would need over $2000 in medical care. I didn't have the money and it was either relinquish him to their vet tech or euthanize him. I relinquished him to save his life and in a state of distress. 2 days later a friend of mine helped make a post to raise the money for his bills. We had people calling into the vet and donating their money in hopes I could get him back. One person was even kind enough to pay his entire bill so I could have him back. But the vet tech told me no she was keeping him. I understand i relinquished him to save his life but dogs are like children. My 13 year old son is distraught. We've been calling and looking at shelters for him since he's been gone. Just wish the vet tech would think of how it would make her feel if it was her dog someone was taking away from her after being In their care for only 2 days! So sad and selfish.

First visit with new pup. Check in prompt and painless. Vet tech was helpful in information on shots he would receive and future treatment and care. Vet gave very thorough exam and had great rapport with him. Office helped identify an associated practice where I winter. Look forward to returning and continued professional care he received here. Top shelf practice.

I have had positive experiences with Alta Sierra Hospital for almost 10 yrs. Dr Synder is an excellent, extremely Competent, Well trained Dr. who shows compassion. Understanding and continually goes that extra mile. I love my Pets ans she has been there for them and me for many years. She and Alta Sierra Staff are truly appreciated.

Incredible service . Got me in the same day . My cat was very ill . Everyone was attentive and helpful despite how busy it was. They kept my cat overnight and gave her great care. She was amazingly better the next day . The front office staff were friendly and give great customer service . They all deserve a thanks from myself and their company . Techs were phenomenal. Personality and knowledge speaks volumes . Dr. Ochoa diagnosed incredibly fast and made a step by step plan . It got to the cause very quickly and avoided so many unnecessary diagnostics .

I took my cat in for the first time for a life threatening emergency and the staff were all so kind and immediately took her in, performed surgery kept her hospitalized for a day and kept me informed as well. I was surprised that the cost was reasonable as well. I am impressed by the professionalism and grateful for the caring staff. I’m so happy to have found them!

I've always liked our vet. When my other dog passed I found them compassionate. When my 19 yr old dog passed, recently, I felt rushed. But what was worse is someone wrote my address down incorrectly and they mailed her paw print to that address. My postman or the post office is unable to find it. It's been 10 days. The man I spoke to yesterday was to look into it and call me back. He did not. Kelly, the woman I spoke to this morning was sure it was mailed to the wrong address but was indifferent. This would be 5 star, absolutely. But this mistake cannot be corrected. I cannot have another paw print made. They said I signed off on it. Quite frankly Kelly...my dog just died I don't know what I signed. Zero empathy from this woman. Not one of them apologized for the mistake.

The entire staff was kind & wonderful. Took care of my dog with gentleness. I had a broken ankle in a boot. They came to me, didn't make me walk once. Explained the pet meds, answered questions. The doc was supportive. It might be a bad situation in a couple weeks but she was willing to try for now. She made me feel calmer. I love this office. Edit: my dog made a full recovery, walking & doing fine! ?
