I love this Veterinary office. Everyone is professional and friendly. The care is exceptional and they truly are animal lovers. I took my kitten to the other place in Maricopa and they wouldn't even see her unless I agreed to get vaccinations during that visit. In my opinion vaccinations are not mandatory and it should be left to the pet owner when these are administered. Ill never go there again. Thankfully we have a better choice for pet care, Maricopa Wells Veterinary Hospital!

I am not sure what these negative reviews I read are all about but my personal experience was great. I was greeted by 2 very nice ladies at the front desk. I was immediately shown to the exam room. The vet tech was extremely nice and so was the vet. It was a very pleasant experience and my little kitten was happy too judging by the amount of purring and the fact he devour the treat the vet gave him. Personally I recommend this place for your basic vet needs. I cannot speak for more serious vet needs for very sick animals.

We took our dog "SCRAPPY" in for his yearly check up last Friday 9/18. He was slinging his gun and ready for a fight!!! They tried their best but with no luck. They ask permission to sedate him which they did and everything worked out great!! Wonderful Doctor and Crew!!! Thank you again!

Our nervous boxer girl hates going to the vet. But Dr. V and her staff are so kind and gentle with her! We've been taking our pets to Dr. V for over a decade and she's always throurough and caring. For routine care, I won't use any other vet!

Less than stellar experience at this vet in caring for my 13 year old dog. The problem begins with front office person - we waited 90 minutes for our last appointment and she never bothered to explain the reason, she does not relay messages to vet, gives unsolicited advice over the phone, is cold and uncaring. I’m still waiting for a copy of my treatment plan from her…The vet is okay, although seems overwhelmed, at last visit she said she would consult with other vets online about my aging dog’s issue and would get back to us. She never did! She prescribed two different prescriptions, one worked but was told over the phone by the receptionist, my dog couldn’t be on it long term. Vet was unsure about the X-ray result, lungs, heart, she didn’t know. I asked the vet if it’s time to discuss end of life care, she said not at this point. My dog is suffering and I’m realizing I’m not going to get anyone at this practice to partner with me for his care. I wouldn’t want anyone to go through this with their furry baby, which is why I’m posting this so you can make an informed decision about your pet’s care.

I love Maricopa Wells Vet Hospital. I have only had to bring my cats in for problems twice. One had cancer and I decided to not prolong his suffering. The staff and vet were understanding, patient and compassionate. I have another cat being treated now but she is 15 years old and I think it may be her time now also. They have been great. They tell me everything that they are doing to treat her and answer all of my questions in layman terms.
