The team at Dallas Highway Animal hospital never cease to amaze me. Even though they are an extremely busy practice they always succeed in giving us the best care. Their staff is amazing from the front desk(Ellen and Amber), Vet Techs (Jessie and others) to the doctors (Dr.Roberts and others). I don’t want to forget to mention Callie always with a smile. We appreciate the dedication and exceptional care you always provide for our animals.

I called and they were able to give a same day appointment for a sick new patient- our cat Scooter. Everyone was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. Scooter had an exam, sedation, shave and draining of wound and we were sent home with antibiotics in less than an hour. Very reasonable price and follow up phone call to check Scooters progress. Plan to be back for well care!

2024 Update:
The quality of care still remains stellar. My dog feels like a celebrity there, as he also boards here frequently. I now also have a cat, who’s become a part of the DHAH family as well. They will be my vet for as long as I’m an animal mom. Special shout-out to Trinity - such a sweetheart and amazing with animals!

2021 Review:
I’ve been bringing my dog Melo to Dallas Highway Animal Hospital for the past 3+ years. They take such amazing care of him! He gets boarded here often and they treat him like family. I’ve recently adopted a kitten and he receives the same excellence in care. The staff are incredible and Dr. Toth is always friendly and super efficient during our visits. They even sent me a Christmas card signed by all the staff! We are truly lucky to have such a caring, compassionate and kind business here in this community. Keep up the outstanding work!

I have been using Dallas Highway Animal Hospital for many years. The care is exceptional and the doctors, especially Dr. Toth, are incredibly knowledgeable and give expert care to us and our pets. I would never consider going anywhere else as I know my furry family members get the best possible care here.

So front desk has messed up again and cancelled our appointment without us knowing. They state that we did not confirm but no where in the text does it say the appointment will be cancelled if not confirmed.
I told them that if it wasn’t for Dr Toth we wouldn’t be here. They’ve messed up with meds before cancelling our dogs medication and saying we never purchased from them. This the 3rd time they’ve messed up with appointments. The front desk depends so much on their new computer system, don’t communicate important changes (ie no confirmation = cancellation), and they don’t use their common sense. And instead of taking accountability the response is “It’s our new computer system.”
Dr. Toth and his clinical team are WONDERFUL. We’ve been going here for over 10y. But this last year there has been an issue EVERY SINGLE APPOINTMENT.
It makes me wonder if our family and friends need to look for another vet service. They need to change their computer system or get new front desk manager who will communicate effectively

UPDATE: Unfortunately, Dr Toth chose to drop us as his clients without any regard to our loyalty for 10 years and all the clients we sent him.

Dr. Toth and Dr Tiejen (sorry ab-spelling?)are amazing. All of the staff are friendly, helpful, and polished, without fail, and everytime we come. I have 2 pitbull mix rescue dogs under Dr. Toth’s care. They go above and beyond to get to the bottom of things and figure out solutions to wellness. On top of that providing a safe environment where they are hyper vigilant about ensuring the safety of my rescues and other animals while visiting.
