I lost my best friend yesterday. My boy Marley, a long hair German shepherd from a line of police dogs had been my best friend for the last 13 years. His legs stopped working and he was in pain. I took him to Waikoloa Vet. I was a crying mess already, when the staff saw me. The Veterinarian, Dr Foster, was so kind to come out to my vehicle to check on Marley. We all agreed it was time to let him go. I was given all the time I needed to say goodbye, bought my boy a steak, hambones, ice cream sandwiches, and whip cream.. his last meal was perfect. The staff kept my ice cream cold, and gave Marley a treat as I held him in his last moments.. The Dr and Staff made this horrible, terrible moment in my life as bearable as it could be. I’ll never go anywhere else with my animals after seeing the compassion and care of the Waikoloa staff. 10 stars to the whole place! Made Marleys exit a peaceful journey. Love you guys!! Thank you so much ! Dr. Foster is an amazing human.

This is one of the best vets on the island. Anytime the Kona office is too busy, this office is always able to get me in quickly when needed. All of the staff are very friendly and caring. Highly recommend if you are looking for a vet in the area!

I had a great experience with Cina and Dr. Crimmins today when I brought my kitty in. Both were very caring, informative and helpful. They listened to my concerns and handled my little dude with compassion. I highly recommend this clinic. It was well worth the drive from Konatown. My cat's not even mad at me for taking him to the vet!

Our 2 year old male cat Gemini was bitten in the mouth by a centipede, from his own doing. We called early morning and was given an early afternoon appointment the same day for Gem. Shawn the amazing Vet who examined Gemini was very cool, calm and collective when it came to our kitty. He explained everything to us and most important, how they could help Gemini. We were so happy for this wonderful, genuine and fast service, not to mention Very Reasonable price/$80 for the exam. During the visit Gemini was very comfortable with Shawn and his examination. This was very comforting and relaxing to witness, the professional interaction that did not add stress to our beloved kitty was Amazing. Shawn is Gemini’s new Vet forever! Thanks for coming to the village. ❤️

I called because I needed to take our dog he was having seizures the person who answered just said we are busy today and didn't even care I'm glad I didn't go there. Next day we went to another vet hospital in waimea much better. Our puppy's life ended that next day but I would never recommend this place. I gave them one star be cause you have to.

Cina made it a point to enforce an idea of service instead of actually helping. My dads dogs nails are grown over. I asked to pay for a nail trim and was told no because we were not a client yet. I begged to pay for the initial exams fee and the over priced nail trim ( her words) so my dads dog can walk. She said no. When I found a tech who saw the nails and was ready to help. I heard he make a stink about it and send him out to tell me the rules are more important than the health of your pet. I begged to use the clipper myself. I heard Cina make a point to refuse me.
So disappointed.
